pit_n so_o here_o christ_n jesus_n raise_v up_o his_o faithful_a minister_n and_o preacher_n to_o publish_v and_o proclaim_v the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n which_o have_v long_o lie_v hide_v under_o outrageous_a persecution_n of_o the_o two_o monstrous_a and_o most_o hideous_a beast_n to_o this_o also_o agree_v that_o which_o be_v write_v in_o the_o eighteen_o chapter_n of_o this_o book_n where_o saint_n john_n see_v a_o angel_n come_v down_o from_o heaven_n have_v great_a power_n so_o that_o the_o earth_n be_v lighten_v with_o his_o glory_n by_o which_o angel_n be_v mean_v all_o the_o drive_v away_o and_o babylon_n fall_v upon_o it_o as_o there_o you_o may_v read_v and_o as_o here_o we_o shall_v see_v the_o like_a effect_n by_o and_o by_o moreover_o it_o be_v here_o say_v that_o this_o angel_n fly_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o heaven_n that_o be_v very_o swift_o carry_v this_o everlasting_a gospel_n through_o all_o the_o church_n for_o when_o god_n appoint_v time_n be_v come_v angel_n be_v say_v to_o fly_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o heaven_n be_v because_o no_o power_n of_o man_n shall_v ever_o be_v able_a to_o stay_v the_o course_n of_o this_o everlasting_a gospel_n which_o this_o angel_n carry_v abroad_o no_o more_o than_o man_n be_v able_a to_o stop_v the_o course_n of_o the_o sun_n in_o the_o heaven_n or_o a_o cloud_n in_o the_o sky_n for_o this_o angel_n fly_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o heaven_n far_o above_o the_o reach_n of_o the_o beast_n and_o all_o king_n and_o potentate_n that_o stand_v for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o beast_n therefore_o let_v they_o do_v of_o god_n and_o sure_o it_o be_v that_o the_o more_o zealous_a and_o godly_a that_o a_o man_n be_v the_o more_o he_o will_v rejoice_v at_o the_o destruction_n of_o popery_n for_o a_o man_n can_v will_v bend_v all_o their_o power_n and_o authority_n with_o all_o their_o might_n and_o main_a against_o the_o romish_a strumpet_n and_o the_o rather_o because_o in_o these_o day_n she_o seem_v to_o make_v a_o head_n again_o have_v so_o many_o and_o great_a favourer_n that_o she_o and_o her_o complice_n dare_v perk_n with_o their_o neb_n and_o very_o bold_o and_o confident_o prate_v of_o a_o holy_a ghost_n say_v they_o have_v not_o receive_v a_o kingdom_n but_o shall_v receive_v power_n as_o king_n at_o a_o hour_n with_o the_o beast_n which_o be_v not_o to_o be_v understand_v simple_o but_o after_o a_o sort_n for_o they_o have_v receive_v kingdom_n under_o the_o emperor_n but_o not_o in_o such_o sort_n as_o afterward_o they_o do_v under_o the_o pope_n for_o the_o roman_a monarchy_n under_o the_o dominion_n of_o the_o pope_n be_v in_o his_o great_a height_n and_o altitude_n and_o the_o king_n of_o europe_n grow_v up_o together_o with_o the_o papacy_n in_o power_n might_n and_o dominion_n and_o saint_n john_n add_v 17.13_o chap._n 17.13_o that_o these_o ten_o king_n or_o kingdom_n be_v all_o of_o one_o mind_n and_o do_v give_v their_o power_n and_o authority_n unto_o the_o beast_n that_o be_v they_o do_v with_o might_n and_o main_a labour_n to_o uphold_v the_o babylonicall_a strumpet_n but_o the_o angel_n tell_v john_n flat_o that_o the_o ten_o horn_n that_o be_v the_o defence_n of_o the_o roman_a empire_n and_o the_o papacy_n be_v in_o the_o kingdom_n which_o be_v subject_a unto_o they_o and_o take_v part_n with_o they_o whereby_o also_o they_o do_v mighty_o push_v at_o other_o nation_n and_o kingdom_n moreover_o we_o be_v to_o observe_v that_o whereas_o saint_n john_n say_v the_o same_o horn_n which_o do_v uphold_v and_o defend_v the_o whore_n shall_v pull_v she_o down_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v understand_v of_o the_o same_o man_n but_o of_o their_o successor_n in_o the_o same_o kingdom_n for_o the_o king_n of_o england_n scotland_n denmark_n polonia_n and_o other_o country_n which_o give_v their_o power_n and_o authority_n unto_o the_o beast_n be_v dead_a and_o go_v and_o if_o we_o respect_v the_o person_n of_o man_n those_o which_o succeed_v they_o now_o in_o these_o kingdom_n and_o pull_v down_o the_o whore_n be_v other_o person_n but_o because_o they_o succeed_v and_o govern_v in_o these_o kingdom_n they_o be_v say_v to_o be_v those_o ten_o horn_n of_o the_o beast_n then_o thus_o it_o be_v these_o ten_o king_n which_o now_o hate_v the_o harlot_n be_v call_v the_o ten_o horn_n of_o the_o beast_n not_o because_o they_o be_v any_o defence_n and_o strength_n unto_o he_o but_o because_o they_o sit_v upon_o the_o same_o throne_n of_o their_o ancestor_n which_o do_v uphold_v and_o maintain_v he_o but_o this_o one_o thing_n be_v already_o fulfil_v in_o england_n scotland_n denmark_n and_o the_o rest_n which_o have_v embrace_v the_o gospel_n and_o it_o be_v very_o likely_a that_o the_o other_o kingdom_n which_o as_o yet_o have_v not_o embrace_v the_o gospel_n shall_v in_o god_n good_a time_n embrace_v it_o for_o this_o seem_v unto_o i_o to_o be_v a_o very_a good_a argument_n take_v from_o the_o word_n of_o the_o interpret_n angel_n those_o ten_o kingdom_n which_o have_v uphold_v rome_n shall_v pull_v down_o rome_n but_o france_n spain_n and_o italy_n have_v uphold_v and_o do_v uphold_a rome_n therefore_o france_n spain_n and_o italy_n shall_v pull_v down_o rome_n to_o this_o may_v be_v add_v for_o confirmation_n 14.6_o chap._n 14.6_o that_o the_o everlasting_a gospel_n shall_v be_v preach_v in_o overthrow_v by_o the_o king_n of_o europe_n only_o or_o by_o the_o turk_n also_o and_o the_o king_n of_o the_o east_n for_o i_o own_o part_n i_o dare_v not_o resolute_o determine_v of_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n to_o come_v but_o the_o event_n shall_v declare_v and_o they_o that_o live_v shall_v one_o day_n see_v it_o it_o may_v be_v the_o turk_n and_o the_o eastern_a prince_n may_v have_v some_o hand_n in_o this_o business_n for_o the_o roman_a monarchy_n do_v stretch_v far_o that_o way_n when_o it_o be_v in_o his_o high_a elevation_n but_o that_o which_o be_v allege_v of_o the_o dry_n up_o of_o the_o water_n of_o euphrates_n 16.11_o chap._n 16.11_o that_o the_o way_n of_o the_o king_n of_o the_o east_n may_v be_v prepare_v prove_v nothing_o because_o it_o be_v a_o allusion_n to_o darius_n and_o cyrus_n which_o be_v king_n of_o the_o east_n and_o take_v old_a babylon_n by_o dry_v up_o the_o water_n of_o euphrates_n and_o lead_v over_o their_o army_n as_o we_o have_v hear_v before_o i_o do_v thus_o then_o resolve_v and_o conclude_v that_o the_o turk_n and_o the_o eastern_a king_n may_v happy_o have_v some_o stroke_n in_o this_o work_n rome_n the_o king_n of_o europe_n shall_v overthrow_v rome_n but_o it_o seem_v most_o probable_a unto_o i_o that_o the_o king_n of_o europe_n shall_v be_v the_o great_a agent_n in_o this_o action_n for_o the_o word_n be_v plain_a that_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n which_o sometime_o be_v subject_a to_o that_o monstrous_a beast_n shall_v now_o at_o last_o shake_v off_o the_o yoke_n of_o her_o servitude_n and_o withdraw_v the_o obedience_n of_o their_o subject_n from_o she_o and_o shall_v hate_v and_o abhor_v the_o harlot_n of_o rome_n and_o shall_v make_v her_o desolate_a by_o withdraw_v their_o subject_n from_o her_o
