believe_v aright_o in_o the_o one_o live_a and_o eternal_a god_n and_o live_v honest_o may_v be_v save_v without_o express_a belief_n in_o jesus_n christ_n our_o saviour_n ii_o second_o whether_o believe_v aright_o both_o in_o god_n almighty_a creator_n of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n and_o in_o jesus_n christ_n our_o redeemer_n with_o all_o other_o fundamental_a point_n of_o the_o christian_a religion_n he_o may_v be_v save_v that_o do_v therewith_o believe_v amiss_o in_o some_o other_o article_n of_o the_o christian_a faith_n iii_o three_o i_o will_v add_v a_o word_n or_o two_o about_o the_o public_a profession_n of_o the_o same_o christian_a faith_n because_o beside_o a_o honest_a life_n and_o a_o true_a belief_n that_o also_o be_v necessary_a to_o salvation_n i_o take_v it_o not_o amiss_o to_o handle_v brief_o the_o first_o point_n although_o there_o be_v few_o christian_n that_o make_v any_o doubt_n of_o it_o because_o i_o myself_o have_v hear_v some_o good_a soul_n very_o virtuous_o give_v but_o not_o sufficient_o instruct_v to_o be_v of_o opinion_n that_o it_o make_v no_o great_a matter_n what_o religion_n they_o profess_v so_o they_o fear_v god_n and_o lead_v a_o honest_a life_n among_o their_o neighbour_n their_o opinion_n seem_v to_o issue_v out_o of_o good_a nature_n and_o a_o great_a love_n of_o honest_a life_n and_o upright_o deal_n which_o they_o see_v to_o be_v wonderful_o decay_v and_o almost_o perish_v in_o our_o miserable_a country_n the_o best_a reason_n that_o i_o can_v frame_v in_o favour_n of_o their_o error_n be_v this_o almighty_a god_n be_v most_o merciful_a full_a of_o goodness_n and_o compassion_n towards_o all_o his_o own_o creature_n he_o know_v our_o inbred_a ignorance_n and_o weakness_n and_o therefore_o be_v not_o likely_a to_o be_v high_o offend_v against_o they_o that_o do_v their_o endeavour_n to_o serve_v he_o accord_v to_o their_o knowledge_n and_o capacity_n how_o slender_a soever_o it_o be_v now_o many_o there_o be_v in_o the_o wide_a world_n bring_v up_o among_o turk_n &_o infidel_n that_o never_o hear_v of_o or_o at_o the_o least_o never_o have_v sufficient_o declare_v unto_o they_o that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v the_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n wherefore_o it_o seem_v that_o such_o may_v be_v save_v without_o faith_n in_o he_o and_o among_o we_o christian_n some_o be_v so_o dull_a of_o capacity_n and_o blockish_a or_o have_v be_v so_o extreme_a ignorant_o or_o evil_o bring_v up_o that_o they_o have_v not_o be_v well_o teach_v to_o believe_v in_o the_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n christ_n jesus_n may_v not_o their_o gross_a ignorance_n beg_v their_o pardon_n att_o our_o most_o merciful_a lord_n his_o hand_n beside_o s._n paul_n declare_v what_o be_v necessary_a for_o he_o to_o believe_v that_o will_v approach_v unto_o god_n seem_v to_o require_v but_o two_o thing_n the_o one_o that_o he_o believe_v that_o god_n be_v the_o other_o that_o he_o be_v a_o rewarder_n of_o all_o they_o that_o seek_v unto_o he_o 11.6_o hebr._n 11.6_o he_o that_o come_v to_o god_n must_v believe_v that_o he_o be_v and_o be_v a_o rewarder_n to_o they_o that_o seek_v he_o but_o we_o may_v well_o believe_v will_v in_o the_o end_n as_o high_a judge_n of_o the_o quick_a &_o the_o dead_a call_v all_o reasonable_a creature_n to_o a_o account_n of_o their_o dutiful_a behaviour_n towards_o their_o so_o good_a and_o high_a maker_n preserver_n &_o ruler_n and_o out_o of_o his_o immense_a bounty_n most_o abundant_o reward_v all_o they_o that_o have_v in_o this_o life_n seek_v unto_o he_o and_o diligent_o serve_v he_o and_o on_o other_o side_n severe_o punish_v they_o that_o have_v neglect_v their_o duty_n towards_o he_o and_o transgress_v his_o holy_a commandment_n all_o this_o i_o say_v and_o much_o morâ—_n one_o may_v believe_v without_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n therefore_o it_o seem_v possible_a that_o some_o man_n may_v obtain_v salvation_n
