the_o church_n of_o england_n in_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n kneel_v without_o sin_n yet_o do_v they_o not_o separate_v from_o she_o indeed_o in_o that_o particular_a act_n they_o withdraw_v but_o yet_o so_o as_o that_o they_o hold_v communion_n with_o she_o in_o the_o rest_n be_v far_o from_o a_o negative_a much_o more_o from_o a_o positive_a separation_n nay_o some_o of_o they_o even_o when_o our_o church_n be_v full_a of_o sinful_a mixture_n with_o great_a zeal_n and_o learning_n defend_v they_o so_o far_o as_o to_o write_v against_o those_o that_o do_v separate_v from_o they_o i_o do_v acknowledge_v that_o i_o be_o not_o able_a to_o reconcile_v all_o thing_n of_o this_o nature_n and_o that_o it_o be_v very_o hard_a to_o show_v where_o the_o difference_n lie_v betwixt_o now_o and_o then_o and_o to_o find_v out_o what_o the_o people_n have_v to_o scare_v they_o from_o communion_n with_o the_o church_n of_o england_n now_o that_o they_o have_v not_o in_o those_o time_n and_o why_o what_o mr._n cartwright_n mr._n dod_n etc._n etc._n write_v then_o in_o defence_n of_o it_o will_v not_o still_o so_o far_o hold_v good_a but_o i_o hope_v you_o easy_o conceive_v that_o the_o case_n be_v not_o the_o same_o with_o the_o minister_n as_o the_o people_n for_o the_o people_n it_o be_v confess_v and_o you_o give_v i_o a_o undeniable_a proof_n of_o the_o general_a belief_n of_o the_o present_a nonconformist_n in_o this_o matter_n viz._n that_o when_o by_o the_o late_a act_n of_o parliament_n every_o one_o that_o be_v in_o any_o office_n of_o trust_n be_v require_v to_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n according_a to_o the_o usage_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n they_o that_o among_o they_o be_v concern_v be_v general_o advise_v to_o it_o by_o their_o own_o pastor_n and_o few_o if_o any_o be_v find_v to_o refuse_v it_o which_o doubtless_o they_o will_v have_v do_v if_o either_o they_o or_o their_o pastor_n have_v think_v that_o they_o have_v sin_v in_o so_o do_v and_o their_o own_o interest_n or_o the_o capacity_n they_o may_v be_v in_o of_o do_v better_a service_n in_o their_o place_n than_o out_o of_o they_o will_v not_o have_v make_v it_o lawful_a if_o it_o have_v not_o be_v think_v lawful_a in_o itself_o and_o therefore_o i_o do_v very_o ready_o grant_v this_o but_o withal_o i_o hope_v you_o do_v perceive_v that_o there_o where_o they_o may_v gratify_v their_o genius_n to_o the_o utmost_a the_o apostle_n seem_v to_o add_v this_o their_o sensuality_n and_o want_v of_o the_o spirit_n to_o their_o separate_a themselves_o not_o only_o to_o show_v that_o sensuality_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o their_o separation_n and_o the_o want_n of_o the_o spirit_n the_o cause_n of_o both_o but_o as_o if_o he_o intend_v direct_o to_o thwart_v and_o cross_v they_o in_o their_o pretence_n of_o have_v a_o high_a and_o extrordinary_a measure_n of_o spiritualness_n above_o other_o who_o as_o these_o seducer_n may_v pretend_v be_v in_o so_o low_a a_o form_n of_o christianity_n and_o have_v so_o little_a spiritualness_n that_o they_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o keep_v they_o company_n whereas_o judas_n tell_v these_o christian_n that_o these_o seducer_n be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v more_o spiritual_a than_o other_o that_o they_o be_v mere_a sensuallist_n and_o have_v nothing_o in_o they_o of_o the_o spirit_n at_o all_o etc._n etc._n observation_n obs_n 1._o common_o sensuality_n lie_v at_o the_o bottom_n of_o sinful_a separation_n and_o make_v of_o sect_n separate_a themselves_o sensual_a etc._n etc._n obs_n 2._o it_o be_v possible_a for_o those_o who_o be_v sensual_a and_o without_o the_o spirit_n to_o boast_v of_o spiritualness_n of_o these_o before_o obs_n 3._o sanctity_n and_o sensuality_n can_v agree_v together_o obs_n 4._o they_o who_o want_v the_o spirit_n be_v easy_o bring_v over_o to_o sensuality_n to_o his_o worthy_a friend_n h._n n._n sir_n i_o hearty_o thank_v you_o for_o put_v i_o in_o mind_n of_o our_o late_a discourse_n and_o for_o give_v i_o so_o fair_a a_o opportunity_n to_o pursue_v it_o by_o the_o sermon_n that_o you_o send_v i_o which_o i_o greedy_o read_v and_o have_v no_o soon_o run_v do_v in_o the_o late_a time_n separate_v from_o themselves_o 3._o that_o lay-communion_n with_o the_o church_n of_o england_n be_v the_o same_o in_o our_o time_n that_o it_o be_v in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o old_a nonconformist_n and_o that_o the_o church_n of_o england_n have_v as_o much_o to_o say_v for_o itself_o now_o as_o it_o have_v then_o 4._o that_o therefore_o the_o new_a separation_n do_v not_o in_o reality_n differ_v from_o the_o old_a and_o be_v true_o schism_n if_o either_o they_o or_o the_o old_a nonconformist_n speak_v true_a now_o this_o i_o look_v upon_o as_o a_o very_a convenient_a method_n to_o bring_v the_o case_n to_o a_o decision_n but_o because_o i_o will_v show_v how_o willing_a i_o be_o to_o meet_v you_o and_o how_o confident_a i_o be_o in_o the_o goodness_n of_o my_o cause_n i_o shall_v take_v that_o course_n which_o will_v more_o ready_o lead_v i_o to_o make_v use_n of_o the_o sermon_n though_o in_o the_o pursue_n of_o that_o i_o shall_v also_o say_v
