his_o rain_n upon_o the_o unjust_a bestow_v some_o kind_n of_o these_o blessing_n upon_o some_o wicked_a and_o the_o other_o kind_n upon_o other_o wicked_a man_n but_o he_o bestow_v both_o upon_o all_o as_o before_o it_o be_v not_o mean_v we_o shall_v love_v our_o enemy_n but_o not_o love_v those_o that_o curse_v we_o or_o bless_v those_o that_o curse_v we_o but_o not_o bless_v those_o that_o prayer_n 2_o samuel_n 12._o though_o not_o literal_o grant_v yet_o be_v he_o hear_v 2._o neither_o be_v it_o against_o this_o command_n to_o pray_v for_o removal_n of_o affliction_n already_o fall_v upon_o we_o 3._o although_o we_o be_v to_o bear_v affliction_n patient_o when_o we_o see_v the_o hand_n of_o god_n plain_o in_o it_o yet_o be_v we_o not_o to_o run_v into_o affliction_n for_o so_o it_o be_v not_o thy_o will_n but_o my_o will_n be_v do_v who_o be_v to_o do_v this_o will_v it_o be_v man_n on_o earth_n we_o only_o pray_v for_o those_o that_o live_v on_o earth_n and_o therefore_o from_o a_o thief_n himself_o thief_n steal_v from_o the_o rich_a and_o covetous_a man_n from_o the_o poor_a thou_o be_v a_o thief_n in_o keep_v from_o the_o poor_a and_o he_o be_v a_o thief_n in_o covetous_a man_n do_v not_o only_o lay_v up_o of_o their_o abundance_n but_o also_o deprive_v themselves_o of_o most_o necessary_n to_o increase_v their_o treasure_n so_o it_o show_v that_o we_o shall_v not_o out_o of_o our_o abundance_n give_v to_o the_o poor_a but_o out_o of_o our_o want_n out_o of_o our_o mouth_n and_o from_o our_o back_n to_o relieve_v they_o that_o be_v in_o extreme_a want_n verse_n 21._o for_o where_o your_o treasure_n be_v there_o will_v your_o heart_n be_v also_o for_o where_o your_o treasure_n be_v this_n be_v the_o second_o reason_n why_o we_o shall_v lay_v up_o our_o treasure_n in_o heaven_n for_o 1._o as_o in_o vers_n 19_o our_o treasure_n will_v be_v lose_v if_o we_o lie_v they_o on_o earth_n so_o here_o our_o heart_n will_v be_v like_o our_o treasure_n if_o they_o will_v be_v heavenly_a our_o heart_n will_v be_v heavenly_a as_o aramundus_n visabunda_fw-la say_v a_o man_n have_v seven_o daughter_n his_o daughter_n in_o respect_n of_o their_o parent_n be_v equal_a but_o if_o one_o man_n be_v a_o husbandman_n another_o a_o merchant_n another_o a_o knight_n another_o a_o lord_n etc._n etc._n according_a to_o their_o husband_n so_o be_v they_o dignify_v so_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n all_o equal_a by_o nature_n but_o their_o love_n be_v such_o as_o the_o thing_n on_o which_o they_o bestow_v it_o earthly_a if_o to_o the_o earth_n heavenly_a if_o to_o heaven_n 2._o we_o may_v evident_o know_v from_o this_o what_o that_o be_v which_o we_o love_v most_o our_o fear_n desire_n hope_n joy_n love_n be_v place_v in_o our_o summum_fw-la bonum_fw-la verse_n 22._o the_o light_n of_o the_o body_n be_v the_o eye_n if_o therefore_o thy_o eye_n be_v single_a thy_o whole_a body_n shall_v be_v full_a of_o light_n verse_n 23._o but_o if_o thy_o eye_n be_v evil_a thy_o whole_a body_n shall_v be_v full_a of_o darkness_n if_o therefore_o the_o light_n that_o be_v in_o thou_o be_v darkness_n how_o great_a be_v that_o darkness_n the_o light_n of_o the_o body_n be_v the_o eye_n etc._n etc._n this_o be_v a_o three_o reason_n or_o confirmation_n of_o the_o second_o why_o we_o shall_v not_o lay_v up_o our_o treasure_n etc._n etc._n and_o it_o stand_v thus_o as_o the_o eye_n be_v to_o the_o body_n so_o the_o aim_n and_o intention_n of_o the_o soul_n be_v to_o the_o faculty_n thereof_o for_o as_o if_o the_o dark_a eye_n let_v not_o in_o light_n the_o whole_a body_n be_v dark_a though_o the_o sun_n shine_v never_o so_o bright_a upon_o it_o so_o if_o that_o which_o we_o main_o look_v after_o and_o aim_v at_o viz._n the_o end_n and_o scope_n of_o our_o action_n be_v earthly_a be_v our_o action_n never_o so_o glorious_a they_o be_v earthly_a also_o for_o prayer_n etc._n etc._n though_o in_o itself_o it_o be_v spiritual_a it_o become_v carnal_a if_o the_o end_n be_v carnal_a here_o our_o saviour_n show_v the_o great_a mischief_n that_o come_v from_o the_o former_a viz._n that_o our_o religious_a action_n become_v carnal_a
