earth_n together_o or_o of_o the_o earth_n alone_o whenas_o it_o say_v in_o the_o beginning_n god_n make_v the_o heaven_n and_o earth_n that_o so_o by_o that_o which_o follow_v and_o the_o earth_n be_v invisible_a and_o without_o form_n although_o it_o please_v he_o to_o call_v the_o formless_a matter_n by_o those_o term_n yet_o may_v we_o understand_v no_o other_o matter_n but_o that_o which_o god_n make_v in_o that_o text_n where_o it_o be_v write_v god_n make_v heaven_n and_o earth_n 2._o the_o mayntayner_n of_o those_o two_o latter_a opinion_n either_o this_o or_o that_o will_v upon_o side_n pierce_v through_o the_o whole_a globe_n of_o this_o world_n yea_o and_o diffuse_v every_o way_n without_o it_o and_o that_o by_o infinite_a space_n though_o unbounded_a so_o that_o the_o earth_n shall_v have_v thou_o the_o heaven_n shall_v have_v thou_o all_o thing_n shall_v have_v thou_o and_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v bound_v in_o thou_o but_o thou_o no_o where_o 4._o for_o as_o the_o body_n of_o this_o air_n which_o be_v about_o the_o earth_n hinder_v not_o the_o light_n of_o the_o sun_n from_o pass_v through_o it_o which_o pierce_v it_o not_o by_o burst_v or_o by_o cut_v but_o by_o fill_v of_o it_o so_o think_v i_o that_o not_o the_o body_n of_o the_o heaven_n the_o air_n &_o sea_n only_o but_o of_o the_o earth_n too_o to_o be_v at_o pleasure_n passable_a unto_o thou_o yea_o easy_a to_o be_v pierce_v by_o thou_o in_o all_o its_o great_a and_o small_a part_n that_o all_o may_v receive_v thy_o presence_n which_o by_o a_o secret_a inspiration_n both_o inward_o and_o outward_o govern_v all_o thing_n which_o thou_o have_v create_v thus_o i_o suspect_v because_o any_o other_o thing_n i_o can_v not_o think_v of_o and_o yet_o be_v this_o false_a too_o for_o by_o this_o mean_n shall_v a_o great_a part_n of_o the_o earth_n have_v contain_v a_o large_a portion_n of_o thou_o and_o the_o less_o a_o lesser_a and_o then_o shall_v all_o thing_n in_o such_o sort_n have_v be_v full_a of_o thou_o as_o that_o the_o body_n of_o a_o elephant_n shall_v contain_v so_o much_o more_o of_o thou_o than_o the_o body_n of_o a_o sparrow_n by_o how_o much_o that_o shall_v be_v may_v med_n thy_o word_n that_o be_v entire_a may_v every_o way_n relieve_v and_o yet_o that_o word_n itself_o also_o be_v corruptible_a because_o it_o be_v the_o offspring_n of_o one_o and_o the_o same_o substance_n 2._o again_o shall_v they_o affirm_v thou_o whatsoever_o thou_o be_v that_o be_v thy_o substance_n to_o be_v incorruptible_a then_o be_v all_o these_o fancy_n of_o they_o most_o false_a and_o execrable_a but_o if_o they_o shall_v affirm_v thou_o to_o be_v corruptible_a even_o that_o be_v most_o false_a and_o to_o be_v abhor_v at_o the_o first_o hear_v this_o argument_n without_o world_n shape_n and_o void_a and_o there_o be_v i_o know_v not_o what_o profoundness_n of_o the_o deep_a upon_o which_o there_o be_v no_o light_n because_o as_o yet_o it_o have_v no_o of_o slow_a apprehension_n but_o by_o some_o ordinary_a word_n and_o what_o among_o all_o the_o part_n of_o the_o world_n can_v be_v find_v to_o come_v near_o to_o a_o absolute_a unshapednesse_n than_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o deep_a for_o sure_o they_o be_v less_o beautiful_a in_o respect_n of_o their_o low_a situation_n than_o those_o other_o high_a part_n be_v which_o be_v all_o transparent_a and_o shine_a wherefore_o then_o may_v i_o not_o conceive_v the_o unshapelynesse_n of_o the_o first_o matter_v which_o thou_o creat_v without_o form_n of_o which_o thou_o be_v to_o make_v this_o goodly_a world_n to_o be_v significant_o intimate_v unto_o man_n by_o the_o name_n of_o earth_n without_o shape_n and_o void_a chap._n 5._o that_o this_o chaos_n be_v hard_o to_o or_o to_o be_v ignorant_a by_o know_v it_o chap._n 6._o what_o himself_o sometime_o think_v of_o it_o 1._o for_o my_o own_o part_n o_o lord_n if_o i_o may_v confess_v all_o unto_o thou_o both_o by_o
