essential_a understanding_n of_o god_n from_o his_o actual_a knowledge_n and_o therefore_o leave_v the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n form_n essence_n and_o as_o we_o make_v it_o of_o his_o essential_a understanding_n to_o himself_o who_o only_o either_o do_v or_o can_v know_v it_o let_v we_o i_o pray_v you_o proceed_v in_o consider_v this_o his_o actual_a knowledge_n sch._n i_o like_v well_o of_o that_o you_o have_v say_v and_o do_v think_v you_o for_o show_v i_o wherein_o i_o err_v yet_o this_o i_o may_v say_v for_o myself_o that_o unless_o you_o have_v in_o a_o manner_n compel_v i_o to_o of_o his_o infiniteness_n to_o all_o thing_n exist_v we_o shall_v find_v that_o it_o be_v far_o easy_a for_o god_n to_o know_v and_o mind_n at_o once_o all_o the_o particular_n which_o either_o have_v be_v be_v or_o be_v to_o be_v then_o for_o one_o of_o we_o to_o think_v on_o any_o one_o particular_a thing_n or_o matter_n as_o if_o that_o we_o may_v use_v the_o similitude_n of_o the_o divine_a essence_n which_o be_v bring_v before_o we_o shall_v suppose_v a_o man_n or_o a_o angel_n to_o be_v of_o so_o large_a a_o brain_n and_o understanding_n as_o be_v the_o whole_a element_n of_o the_o air_n the_o which_o we_o know_v to_o be_v every_o where_o if_o it_o be_v not_o keep_v out_o by_o some_o more_o solid_a body_n and_o that_o every_o part_n of_o it_o be_v of_o sufficient_a virtue_n to_o conceive_v and_o know_v we_o than_o shall_v not_o mavell_v if_o at_o one_o instant_a he_o do_v know_v and_o consider_v of_o all_o the_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n and_o that_o without_o any_o thing_n actual_o that_o be_v he_o do_v not_o attain_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o it_o by_o doubtful_a reason_n discourse_n and_o consequence_n of_o one_o thing_n from_o another_o but_o see_v it_o exist_v as_o certain_o as_o if_o it_o be_v actual_o exist_v and_o present_a with_o he_o otherwise_o if_o god_n do_v attain_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o thing_n by_o way_n of_o uncertain_a discourse_n it_o will_v follow_v that_o his_o knowledge_n be_v sometime_o potential_a and_o imperfect_a not_o have_v as_o yet_o attain_v to_o the_o thing_n it_o aim_v but_o be_v only_o in_o the_o way_n towards_o it_o whereas_o we_o be_v to_o think_v and_o hold_v for_o a_o most_o certain_a truth_n that_o the_o whole_a course_n order_n beginning_z progress_n and_o end_n of_o the_o world_n be_v and_o hâ—th_v be_v always_o from_o everlasting_a see_v and_o know_v by_o he_o and_o that_o without_o successive_a discourse_n &_o by_o one_o perfect_a and_o compâ—eâ—e_a act_n of_o knowledge_n the_o which_o we_o every_o where_n in_o the_o scripture_n speak_v of_o the_o eternal_a love_n and_o purpose_n of_o god_n towards_o his_o elect_a gent._n you_o say_v that_o god_n know_v all_o thing_n actual_o always_o and_o i_o think_v you_o say_v true_a yet_o i_o be_o sure_a you_o know_v the_o old_a exception_n &_o objection_n which_o have_v be_v always_o make_v against_o this_o doctrine_n not_o only_o by_o heathen_a philosopher_n but_o also_o by_o christian_a divine_n who_o grant_v this_o to_o be_v true_a in_o all_o those_o action_n which_o god_n work_v either_o immediate_o by_o himself_o or_o by_o the_o mean_n of_o those_o creature_n which_o be_v not_o endue_v with_o liberty_n of_o will_n in_o all_o which_o they_o grant_v that_o there_o may_v be_v a_o appoint_a order_n &_o course_n which_o more_o than_o one_o in_o authoâ—itie_n there_o be_v matter_n of_o continual_a discord_n and_o disorder_n but_o in_o unity_n there_o be_v perfect_a concord_n for_o no_o man_n disagree_v with_o himself_o so_o much_o more_o we_o be_v to_o think_v that_o the_o sovereign_a monarchy_n of_o the_o world_n be_v not_o in_o motion_n or_o possibility_n tend_v to_o perfection_n but_o already_o and_o
