the_o latter_a these_o shall_v make_v war_n with_o the_o lamb_n and_o the_o lamb_n shall_v overcome_v they_o for_o he_o be_v lord_n of_o lord_n and_o king_n of_o king_n he_o do_v not_o say_v he_o shall_v be_v king_n of_o king_n but_o what_o need_n have_v i_o to_o accumulate_v text_n of_o scripture_n for_o the_o proof_n of_o this_o matter_n when_o the_o second_o and_o three_o chapter_n of_o person_n govern_v the_o church_n and_o take_v care_n of_o it_o for_o you_o shall_v there_o have_v clear_a and_o undeniable_a argument_n both_o of_o the_o cognisance_n that_o he_o take_v of_o man_n action_n and_o of_o the_o protection_n he_o afford_v unto_o such_o as_o walk_v upright_o with_o he_o and_o also_o of_o the_o judgement_n he_o execute_v on_o they_o that_o either_o turn_v aside_o out_o of_o the_o right_a way_n or_o at_o least_o slacken_v their_o first_o love_n so_o that_o i_o be_o not_o a_o little_a move_v when_o i_o perceive_v many_o who_o otherwise_o seem_v to_o own_o the_o gospel_n so_o easy_o give_v ear_n to_o such_o a_o doctrine_n as_o assert_v that_o christ_n be_v not_o yet_o in_o the_o possession_n and_o exercise_n of_o his_o kingdom_n but_o shall_v hereafter_o reign_v and_o that_o upon_o the_o earth_n which_o opinion_n thwart_v the_o whole_a tenor_n of_o the_o new_a testament_n where_o christ_n since_o his_o ascension_n be_v usual_o call_v lord_n and_o annull_v the_o faith_n we_o repose_v in_o christ_n for_o to_o what_o purpose_n be_v it_o to_o rely_v on_o he_o for_o help_v and_o assistance_n if_o he_o be_v not_o yet_o in_o his_o kingdom_n and_o restrain_v prayer_n and_o worship_n before_o he_o and_o in_o a_o word_n usher_v in_o judaisme_n for_o there_o at_o length_n this_o pernicious_a conceit_n be_v wont_v to_o centre_n wherefore_o see_v i_o have_v irrefragable_o prove_v that_o jesus_n christ_n do_v now_o reign_v in_o heaven_n neither_o be_v there_o so_o much_o as_o one_o passage_n in_o all_o the_o scripture_n that_o say_v he_o shall_v ever_o reign_v upon_o the_o earth_n but_o he_o himself_o on_o the_o contrary_a plain_o testify_v john_n 18.36_o that_o his_o kingdom_n be_v not_o of_o this_o world_n which_o can_v not_o be_v no_o hint_n of_o any_o resurrection_n and_o therefore_o such_o saint_n be_v to_o be_v understand_v as_o have_v not_o yet_o be_v dead_a do_v and_o shall_v reign_v upon_o the_o earth_n thus_o john_n say_v both_o of_o himself_o and_o the_o saint_n in_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n chap._n 1._o that_o christ_n have_v make_v they_o king_n and_o priest_n to_o god_n and_o consequent_o it_o may_v have_v be_v true_o affirm_v of_o they_o that_o they_o shall_v reign_v upon_o the_o earth_n where_o they_o be_v already_o king_n for_o whereas_o it_o be_v usual_o object_v that_o those_o saint_n in_o the_o five_o chapter_n say_v of_o themselves_o we_o shall_v reign_v upon_o the_o earth_n and_o therefore_o do_v not_o already_o reign_v this_o be_v frivolous_a for_o inasmuch_o as_o they_o be_v already_o king_n as_o they_o themselves_o affirm_v and_o some_o of_o they_o sit_v with_o their_o crown_n upon_o their_o head_n it_o must_v needs_o be_v that_o they_o do_v already_o reign_v and_o so_o those_o word_n we_o shall_v reign_v upon_o the_o earth_n do_v not_o intimate_v the_o beginning_n but_o the_o continuance_n of_o their_o reign_n thus_o john_n write_v to_o certain_a christian_n of_o foundation_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o heaven_n be_v the_o work_n of_o thy_o hand_n they_o shall_v perish_v but_o thou_o shall_v endure_v yea_o all_o of_o they_o shall_v wax_v old_a like_o a_o which_o be_v in_o the_o hebrew_n of_o the_o dual_a number_n sign_n fi_v that_o there_o be_v two_o city_n know_v by_o that_o appellation_n the_o testimony_n take_v out_o of_o the_o divine_a author_n to_o the_o hebrew_n will_v abundant_o confirm_v our_o assertion_n for_o he_o say_v chap._n 11.9_o 10._o by_o faith_n abraham_n sojourn_v in_o the_o land_n of_o promise_n as_o in_o a_o strange_a country_n dwell_v in_o tabernacle_n with_o isaac_n and_o jacob_n heir_n with_o he_o of_o the_o same_o promise_n for_o he_o look_v for_o a_o city_n which_o have_v foundation_n who_o builder_n and_o maker_n be_v god_n certain_o a_o city_n that_o be_v oppose_v to_o tabernacle_n as_o have_v foundation_n whereof_o they_o be_v destitute_a and_o who_o builder_n and_o maker_n be_v god_n himself_o be_v
