LXIV HEar my voice O God in my prayer preserve my life from fear of the enemie O God when I my prayer make my voice then do thou hear Of him that is the enemie preserve my life from fear 2 Hide me from the secret counsell of the wicked from the insurrection of the workers of iniquitie 2 Me from their secret counsell hide that do live wickedly From insurrection of the men that work iniquity 3 Who whet their tongue like a sword and bend their bows to shoot their arrows even bitter words 3 Who thus in rage do whet their tongues and that like unto swords And to shoot arrows bend their bows ev'n their most bitter words 4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect suddenly doe they shoot at him and fear not 4 That they in secret then may shoot at him that 's perfect heer They suddenly do shoot at him and not at all do fear 5 They encourage themselves in an evill matter they commune of laying snarnes privily they say Who shall see them 5 Themselves they in a matter ill encourage and to lay Snares privily they commune thus who shall them see they say 6 They search out iniquities they accomplish a diligent search both the inward thoughts of every one of them and the heart is deep 6 They do search out iniquities accomplished they keep A diligent search the inward thought and heart of each is deep 7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow suddenly shall they be wounded 8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves all that see them shall flee away 7 God shall an arrow at them shoot and wound them suddenly Their own tongue they 'le make on them fall all that them see shall fly 9 And all men shall fear and shall declare the work of God for they shall wiselie consider of his doing 9 And in great fear all men shall be and shall Gods work declare For wisely they consider shall what those his doings are 10 The righteous shall be glad in the Lord and shall trust in him and all the upright in heart shall glorie 10 The righteous shall in God be glade and in him trust they shall And they that are upright in heart shall also glory all PSAL. LXXXII GOd standeth in the congregation of the mightie he judgeth among the gods 2 How long will ye judge unjustly and accept the persons of the wicked Selah IN Gods assembly God doth stand among gods judgeth he 2 How long accepting persons vile unjustly judge will ye 3 Defend the poor and fatherlesse do justice to the afflicted and needy 3 Defend those whom poor in the land and fatherlesse ye see Unto afflicted justice do and those that needy be 4 Deliver the poor and needy rid them out of the hand of the wicked 4 Deliver thou those that are poor and in great need do stand Do thou them also safely rid out of the wickeds hand 5 They know not neither will they understand they walk on in darknesse all the foundations of the earth are out of course 5 They know not nor will understand in darknesse they walk on All the foundations of the earth out of their course are gone 6 I have said ye are gods and all of you are children of the most High 7 But ye shall die like men and fall like one of the princes 6 I thus have said that ye are gods the most Highs children all 7 But ye shall die like men and like one of the princes fall 8 Arise O God judge the earth for thou shalt inherit all Nations 8 O God at last do thou arise the earth to judgement call For those that are the Nations thou shalt inherit all PSAL. CXLII I Cried unto the Lord with my voice with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication I Unto him that is the Lord thus with my voice did cry My supplication with my voice unto the Lord made I. 2 I poured out my complaint before him I shewed before him my trouble 2 Before him then I my complaints did poure out in great store And what to me a trouble was I shewed him before 3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me then thou knewest my path in the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me 3 When in me was ov'rwhelm'd my sprit my path was known to thee They snares in wayes wherein I walk'd laid privily for me 4 I looked on my right hand and beheld but there was no man that would know me refuge failed me no man cared for my soul. 4 On my right hand I look'd and saw but none at all was there That would me know refuge me fail'd none for my soul did care 5 I cried unto thee O Lord I said Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living 5 I unto thee O Lord did cry I said unto thee then My portion and refuge thou art in land of living men 6 Attend unto my cry for I am brought very low deliver me from my persecutors for they are stronger then I. 6 Sith that I am brought very low attend unto my cry Me from my persecutors save who stronger are then I. 7 Bring my soul out of prison that I may praise thy Name the righteous shall compasse me about for thou shalt deal bountifullie with me 7 That I thy Name may praise bring thou my soul from prison free The just me'l compasse for thou shalt deal bounteously with me PSAL.
