purpose_n so_o to_o do_v as_o soon_o as_o convenient_o he_o may_v as_o for_o those_o than_o who_o be_v keep_v back_o from_o this_o feast_n because_o they_o see_v some_o unworthy_a person_n be_v admit_v to_o it_o my_o answer_n to_o they_o in_o brief_a be_v this_o that_o they_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v forward_o in_o judge_v any_o other_o unworthy_a because_o it_o be_v hard_a for_o they_o to_o know_v it_o and_o they_o be_v liable_a to_o be_v mistake_v in_o it_o and_o that_o when_o they_o have_v great_a and_o plain_a cause_n to_o conclude_v other_o unworthy_a yet_o ought_v not_o that_o in_o any_o wise_a to_o hinder_v they_o who_o be_v true_o worthy_a from_o come_v to_o it_o for_o if_o the_o company_n of_o unworthy_a receiver_n be_v a_o just_a hindrance_n it_o will_v have_v hinder_v our_o bless_a lord_n and_o the_o primitive_a christian_n since_o it_o lay_v in_o their_o way_n as_o well_o as_o now_o it_o do_v in_o we_o it_o will_v not_o rest_v in_o withhold_a we_o from_o the_o communion_n but_o serve_v equal_o to_o put_v we_o by_o from_o be_v member_n of_o the_o church_n or_o profess_v the_o christian_a religion_n but_o it_o be_v plain_o of_o no_o force_n for_o either_o of_o they_o since_o one_o man_n shall_v not_o bear_v another_o but_o every_o one_o his_o own_o burden_n but_o if_o still_o any_o be_v real_o scandalize_v by_o the_o company_n of_o such_o as_o be_v notorious_o wicked_a that_o offen●e_n may_v be_v remove_v when_o they_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o it_o for_o upon_o complaint_n make_v those_o unworthy_a person_n be_v to_o be_v suspend_v from_o the_o holy_a table_n and_o deny_v the_o sacrament_n a_o eleven_o hindrance_n whereby_o several_a person_n be_v keep_v back_o from_o join_v in_o this_o feast_n be_v the_o gesture_n which_o be_v require_v to_o it_o for_o though_o right-glad_o they_o will_v be_v admit_v to_o the_o sacrament_n yet_o they_o dare_v not_o kneel_v as_o the_o church_n appoint_v all_o man_n to_o do_v when_o they_o receive_v it_o now_o when_o any_o person_n refuse_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n upon_o this_o account_n they_o have_v no_o sufficient_a plea_n or_o just_a excuse_n from_o it_o when_o our_o lord_n shall_v ask_v they_o at_o the_o last_o day_n why_o they_o do_v not_o communicate_v according_a to_o his_o appointment_n it_o will_v be_v but_o a_o bad_a answer_n in_o they_o to_o say_v it_o be_v because_o they_o can_v not_o sit_v or_o use_v some_o other_o posture_n which_o they_o think_v convenient_a for_o since_o he_o have_v only_o require_v the_o thing_n but_o have_v no_o where_o enjoin_v the_o gesture_n we_o be_v to_o receive_v in_o he_o will_v have_v just_a reason_n to_o reply_v to_o such_o man_n that_o then_o it_o seem_v they_o will_v not_o do_v what_o he_o bid_v they_o unless_o at_o the_o same_o time_n they_o can_v do_v that_o also_o which_o he_o have_v not_o bid_v nor_o perform_v his_o will_n unless_o withal_o they_o shall_v be_v allow_v to_o have_v their_o own_o which_o just_o merit_v a_o severe_a reproof_n but_o be_v far_o from_o be_v a_o matter_n of_o commendation_n but_o that_o they_o may_v not_o inexcusable_o neglect_v so_o great_a a_o commandment_n upon_o so_o weak_a a_o reason_n for_o it_o i_o will_v offer_v to_o their_o consideration_n these_o three_o thing_n 1._o kneel_v be_v no_o unsuitable_a posture_n in_o receive_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n so_o that_o if_o we_o be_v leave_v at_o liberty_n we_o may_v have_v enough_o to_o justify_v ourselves_o in_o make_v use_n of_o it_o 2._o it_o be_v appoint_v by_o our_o governor_n who_o god_n command_v we_o to_o obey_v in_o all_o lawful_a thing_n so_o that_o every_o good_a man_n who_o be_v under_o authority_n aught_o to_o observe_v it_o but_o if_o it_o be_v not_o our_o duty_n when_o authority_n have_v thus_o require_v the_o use_n of_o it_o and_o it_o have_v no_o reason_n from_o itself_o to_o recommend_v it_o but_o it_o be_v much_o better_a that_o some_o other_o posture_n shall_v be_v use_v yet_o 3._o since_o it_o lawful_o may_v be_v use_v too_o though_o not_o so_o well_o as_o another_o if_o man_n have_v any_o due_a value_n for_o and_o desire_v of_o the_o sacrament_n for_o its_o sake_n and_o rather_o than_o miss_v of_o it_o they_o shall_v at_o least_o comply_v with_o it_o 1._o kneel_v be_v no_o unsuitable_a posture_n in_o receive_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n so_o that_o if_o we_o be_v leave_v at_o liberty_n we_o may_v have_v enough_o to_o justify_v ourselves_o in_o make_v use_n of_o it_o for_o the_o sacrament_n as_o i_o have_v already_o show_v be_v a_o religious_a feast_n wherein_o we_o be_v set_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o and_o be_v concern_v with_o almighty_a god_n and_o when_o we_o have_v to_o do_v with_o he_o it_o be_v no_o way_n unfit_a sure_o to_o use_v such_o posture_n as_o be_v humble_a and_o reverent_a it_o be_v a_o feast_n wherein_o we_o receive_v the_o great_a benefit_n no_o less_o than_o our_o saviour_n christ_n bless_a body_n and_o blood_n i._n e._n those_o benefit_n which_o his_o bloody_a death_n procure_v and_o when_o we_o receive_v gift_n especial_o of_o that_o infinite_a price_n and_o from_o our_o better_n and_o supreme_a governor_n it_o can_v misbecome_v we_o to_o use_v such_o carriage_n as_o express_v most_o respect_n and_o thankfulness_n it_o be_v a_o feast_n whereat_o we_o confirm_v the_o new_a covenant_n and_o solemn_o give_v thanks_o and_o praise_n to_o christ_n and_o pour_v out_o many_o prayer_n and_o promise_n to_o our_o heavenly_a lord_n and_o

when_o we_o be_v exercise_v repentance_n and_o utter_v praise_n and_o make_v solemn_a prayer_n and_o oblation_n it_o be_v not_o certain_o improper_a to_o use_v such_o gesture_n as_o best_a become_v devotion_n in_o the_o sacrament_n we_o have_v to_o do_v with_o almighty_a god_n and_o receive_v most_o noble_a gift_n and_o act_v most_o humble_a repentance_n in_o shameful_o confess_v and_o renounce_v of_o our_o sin_n and_o give_v most_o hearty_a thanks_o and_o put_v up_o most_o ardent_a prayer_n and_o therefore_o that_o posture_n must_v needs_o suit_v well_o with_o it_o which_o become_v these_o service_n and_o that_o kneel_v will_v be_v allow_v to_o do_v by_o all_o person_n since_o it_o have_v be_v ordinary_o well_o like_v in_o all_o time_n nay_o prefer_v before_o other_o for_o the_o posture_n of_o devotion_n as_o it_o be_v a_o supper_n and_o a_o feast_n some_o be_v apt_a to_o think_v sit_v which_o with_o we_o at_o least_o be_v the_o ordinary_a table-posture_n to_o be_v most_o convenient_a but_o as_o this_o be_v not_o a_o common_a but_o a_o religious_a feast_n wherein_o we_o have_v to_o do_v with_o god_n and_o perform_v so_o many_o thing_n whereto_o all_o inward_a reverence_n and_o humility_n be_v require_v there_o be_v reason_n enough_o that_o most_o just_o authorize_v kneel_v too_o so_o that_o if_o we_o direct_v our_o eye_n to_o they_o we_o shall_v soon_o see_v that_o it_o may_v very_o reasonable_o be_v use_v and_o be_v in_o no_o wise_a unsuitable_a or_o improper_a for_o it_o and_o therefore_o if_o we_o be_v leave_v at_o liberty_n to_o receive_v it_o as_o we_o please_v we_o may_v have_v enough_o to_o justify_v ourselves_o in_o make_v use_n of_o it_o 2._o kneel_v be_v appoint_v by_o our_o governor_n who_o god_n command_v we_o to_o obey_v in_o all_o little_a thing_n and_o refuse_v to_o communicate_v unless_o we_o can_v have_v it_o order_v according_a to_o our_o own_o like_n in_o all_o point_n it_o be_v a_o sign_n we_o do_v not_o think_v we_o great_o need_v it_o nor_o be_v very_o desirous_a of_o it_o for_o if_o we_o be_v it_o be_v certain_a small_a matter_n will_v not_o put_v we_o by_o it_o be_v we_o full_o sensible_a how_o much_o it_o if_o any_o person_n shall_v turn_v away_o from_o the_o most_o savoury_a and_o choice_a meat_n because_o it_o be_v dish_v up_o on_o pewter_n not_o on_o plate_n the_o bystander_n will_v all_o conclude_v he_o be_v full_a enough_o already_o and_o have_v no_o great_a edge_n of_o appetite_n and_o the_o case_n be_v just_a the_o same_o when_o any_o of_o we_o show_v niceness_n about_o the_o posture_n of_o the_o holy_a sacrament_n for_o do_v we_o real_o think_v we_o be_v in_o very_o great_a need_n of_o it_o and_o have_v such_o a_o ardent_a desire_n as_o that_o we_o may_v be_v say_v to_o hunger_n and_o thirst_n after_o it_o we_o shall_v be_v glad_a to_o have_v it_o in_o any_o posture_n as_o we_o can_v be_v allow_v it_o so_o that_o although_o kneel_v be_v a_o gesture_n whereto_o we_o be_v no_o way_n oblige_v nay_o though_o it_o be_v just_o to_o be_v dislike_v not_o as_o unlawful_a indeed_o but_o as_o inconvenient_a yet_o when_o the_o sacrament_n be_v not_o otherwise_o to_o be_v have_v there_o be_v no_o man_n who_o be_v due_o desirous_a to_o receive_v but_o will_v comply_v with_o it_o he_o have_v rather_o it_o may_v be_v communicate_v sit_v or_o stand_v or_o after_o some_o other_o manner_n which_o he_o fancy_v better_a be_v it_o leave_v to_o his_o own_o like_n but_o yet_o if_o he_o desire_v it_o in_o such_o measure_n as_o he_o ought_v he_o will_v submit_v to_o receive_v kneel_v rather_o hindrance_n namely_o that_o although_o for_o its_o own_o sake_n they_o will_v not_o choose_v it_o yet_o for_o the_o sacrament_n sake_n which_o be_v not_o otherwise_o to_o be_v have_v they_o will_v at_o least_o comply_v with_o it_o in_o my_o judgement_n it_o be_v their_o duty_n to_o kneel_v since_o their_o governor_n require_v it_o and_o the_o posture_n be_v so_o suitable_a to_o the_o feast_n that_o be_v it_o not_o require_v they_o may_v have_v enough_o to_o justify_v themselves_o in_o make_v use_n of_o it_o and_o if_o upon_o the_o reason_n i_o have_v here_o give_v they_o be_v convince_v of_o these_o thing_n that_o clear_v the_o case_n without_o more_o ado_n and_o be_v the_o best_a solution_n of_o it_o but_o if_o their_o prejudices_fw-la stick_v still_o after_o all_o and_o in_o those_o point_n they_o happen_v not_o to_o be_v of_o my_o mind_n but_o think_v themselves_o free_a from_o it_o and_o that_o sit_v be_v much_o better_o use_v yet_o at_o least_o since_o kneel_v may_v be_v use_v too_o for_o the_o sacrament_n sake_n which_o if_o they_o value_v as_o they_o ought_v they_o will_v glad_o accept_v though_o in_o a_o posture_n less_o convenient_a let_v they_o condescend_v and_o submit_v to_o it_o though_o they_o have_v rather_o receive_v sit_v when_o they_o may_v be_v allow_v yet_o they_o may_v receive_v kneeling_z when_o there_o be_v need_n of_o it_o and_o they_o must_v needs_o think_v it_o better_a to_o kneel_v to_o it_o than_o by_o stop_v at_o a_o thing_n so_o innocent_a though_o less_o significant_a to_o be_v quite_o put_v by_o and_o go_v without_o it_o but_o against_o this_o compliance_n they_o may_v perhaps_o object_n and_o it_o be_v the_o fair_a thing_n which_o i_o know_v say_v against_o it_o that_o they_o can_v comply_v with_o this_o injunction_n of_o kneel_v because_o it_o be_v cross_v to_o our_o saviour_n institution_n for_o as_o he_o institute_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n so_o they_o think_v we_o ought_v to_o adhere_v to_o it_o but_o to_o clear_v this_o point_n which_o i_o shall_v do_v as_o plain_o as_o i_o can_v because_o it_o seem_v to_o have_v some_o weight_n in_o it_o i_o shall_v observe_v 1._o that_o if_o use_v a_o posture_n
