and_o people_n too_o 〈◊〉_d the_o same_o end_n and_o therefore_o will_v become_v their_o unite_n interest_n 64._o that_o which_o be_v but_o a_o weed_n among_o these_o flower_n the_o more_o heavenly_a minister_n and_o people_n will_v dislike_v and_o much_o more_o dislike_v the_o loathsome_a face_n of_o death_n or_o lifelesness_n in_o their_o religion_n 65._o these_o difference_n of_o mind_n and_o practice_n will_v engage_v both_o party_n in_o some_o kind_n of_o opposition_n to_o each_o other_o the_o worldly_a clergy_n or_o hypocrite_n will_v have_v heart-rising_n against_o the_o minister_n and_o people_n that_o think_v mean_o of_o they_o and_o will_v take_v it_o for_o their_o interest_n to_o bring_v they_o down_o for_o enmity_n be_v hardly_o restrain_v from_o exercise_n and_o cain_n will_v be_v wrath_n that_o abel_n sacrifice_n be_v better_a accept_v than_o his_o own_o 66._o the_o better_a minister_n will_v be_v apt_a through_o passion_n to_o speak_v too_o dishonourable_o of_o the_o other_o and_o the_o rash_a and_o young_a sort_n and_o the_o heretical_a hypocrite_n that_o fall_v in_o with_o they_o will_v take_v it_o for_o part_n of_o a_o godly_a zeal_n to_o speak_v against_o they_o to_o the_o people_n in_o such_o word_n as_o christ_n use_v of_o the_o scribe_n and_o pharisee_n 67._o hereupon_o the_o exasperation_n of_o each_o party_n will_v be_v increase_v more_o and_o more_o and_o the_o powerful_a worldly_a clergy_n will_v think_v it_o their_o interest_n to_o devise_v some_o new_a imposition_n which_o they_o know_v the_o other_o can_v yield_v to_o to_o work_v they_o out_o 68_o whether_o they_o be_v oath_n subscription_n word_n or_o action_n which_o they_o believe_v to_o be_v against_o god_n word_n the_o spiritual_a and_o upright_a part_n of_o the_o clergy_n and_o people_n will_v not_o perform_v they_o resolve_v to_o obey_v god_n rather_o than_o man._n 69._o hereupon_o the_o worldly_a part_n will_v take_v their_o advantage_n and_o call_v they_o disobedient_a stubborn_a proud_a schismatical_a self_n opinion_v disturber_n of_o the_o public_a peace_n and_o order_n pestilent_a fellow_n and_o mover_n of_o sedition_n among_o the_o people_n that_o will_v let_v nothing_o be_v quiet_a but_o turn_v the_o world_n upside-down_a act._n 24._o 5_o 6._o and_o will_v endeavour_v to_o bring_v they_o to_o such_o suffering_n as_o man_n real_o guilty_a of_o suffering_n will_v make_v many_o otherwise_o sober_a minister_n too_o impatient_a and_o to_o give_v their_o tongue_n leave_v to_o take_v down_o the_o honour_n of_o the_o clergy_n who_o they_o suffer_v by_o more_o than_o beseem_v man_n of_o humility_n charity_n and_o patience_n 72._o when_o the_o people_n that_o most_o esteem_v their_o faithful_a minister_n be_v deprive_v of_o their_o labour_n by_o the_o prohibition_n of_o the_o rest_n and_o themselves_o also_o afflict_a with_o they_o it_o will_v stir_v up_o in_o they_o a_o inordinate_a unwarrantable_a passionate_a zeal_n which_o will_v corrupt_v their_o very_a prayer_n and_o make_v they_o speak_v unseemly_a thing_n and_o pray_v for_o the_o downfall_n of_o that_o clergy_n which_o they_o take_v to_o be_v the_o enemy_n of_o god_n and_o godliness_n and_o they_o will_v think_v that_o to_o speak_v easy_o or_o charitable_o of_o such_o man_n as_o dare_v forbid_v christ_n minister_n to_o preach_v his_o gospel_n and_o by_o notorious_a sacrilege_n alienate_v the_o person_n and_o gift_n that_o be_v consecrate_a solemn_o to_o god_n be_v but_o to_o be_v lukewarm_a and_o indifferent_a between_o god_n and_o the_o devil_n 73._o and_o when_o they_o take_v they_o as_o enemy_n to_o religion_n and_o to_o themselves_o the_o young_a and_o rasher_n sort_n of_o minister_n but_o much_o more_o the_o people_n will_v grow_v into_o a_o suspicion_n of_o all_o that_o they_o see_v their_o afflicter_n stand_v for_o they_o will_v dislike_v not_o only_o their_o fault_n but_o many_o harmless_a thing_n yea_o many_o laudable_a custom_n which_o they_o use_v and_o will_v grow_v into_o some_o superstition_n in_o opposition_n to_o they_o make_v new_a sin_n in_o the_o manner_n of_o worship_n which_o god_n never_o forbid_v or_o make_v to_o be_v sin_n and_o take_v up_o new_a duty_n which_o god_n never_o make_v duty_n yea_o ready_a to_o forforsake_v some_o old_a &_o wholesome_a doctrine_n because_o their_o afflicter_n own_o they_o and_o to_o take_v up_o some_o new_a unsound_a doctrine_n and_o exposition_n of_o god_n word_n because_o they_o be_v incline_v by_o opinion_n and_o passion_n conjoin_v to_o go_v as_o far_o as_o may_v
