shall_v be_v in_o vain_a while_o they_o continue_v such_o under_o their_o ministry_n and_o be_v in_o travel_n as_o woman_n with_o child_n for_o their_o regeneration_n it_o be_v certain_o a_o woeful_a profane_a god_n complain_v heavy_o of_o this_o in_o many_o place_n of_o scripture_n and_o it_o be_v easy_a here_o to_o declaim_v against_o it_o in_o many_o word_n if_o it_o be_v not_o sufficient_o do_v by_o other_o and_o also_o so_o evident_a in_o itself_o that_o no_o minister_n that_o will_v but_o think_v on_o it_o can_v be_v ignorant_a of_o the_o great_a sinfulness_n of_o such_o a_o temper_n and_o that_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o curse_n of_o the_o damn_a for_o this_o their_o neglect_n await_v they_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o that_o they_o be_v the_o grief_n of_o good_a man_n and_o the_o scorn_n of_o bad_a one_o in_o this_o world_n on_o that_o very_a account_n they_o can_v but_o know_v that_o it_o be_v they_o that_o make_v man_n separatist_n while_o no_o man_n that_o have_v any_o concern_v for_o his_o soul_n can_v endure_v to_o live_v under_o a_o minister_n that_o regard_v the_o soul_n of_o his_o people_n not_o half_a so_o much_o as_o he_o do_v the_o life_n of_o his_o beast_n and_o i_o wonder_v they_o can_v blame_v any_o man_n for_o endeavour_v their_o suspension_n since_o they_o can_v be_v no_o true_a christian_n who_o have_v rather_o see_v so_o many_o soul_n damn_v as_o may_v be_v in_o danger_n of_o it_o by_o such_o man_n neglect_n then_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v displace_v by_o a_o just_a suspension_n that_o a_o better_a may_v take_v their_o place_n for_o my_o part_n i_o wish_v all_o parishioner_n be_v convince_v of_o their_o duty_n in_o this_o kind_n and_o will_v endeavour_v all_o that_o be_v possible_a in_o just_a way_n to_o remove_v such_o minister_n and_o those_o that_o be_v most_o offend_v at_o this_o shall_v do_v their_o duty_n in_o this_o before_o they_o think_v of_o separate_n from_o the_o church_n and_o those_o that_o have_v not_o think_v of_o this_o which_o be_v the_o right_a way_n to_o ease_v their_o grief_n but_o run_v into_o the_o wrong_a way_n of_o separation_n let_v they_o now_o return_v at_o the_o earnest_a invitation_n of_o this_o church_n by_o her_o best_a minister_n and_o when_o they_o have_v resolve_v to_o do_v their_o duty_n to_o god_n and_o to_o the_o church_n according_a as_o the_o law_n require_v do_v they_o may_v be_v great_o helpful_a to_o the_o reformation_n of_o thing_n amiss_o to_o the_o encourage_v the_o good_a and_o remove_v unworthy_a minister_n to_o the_o honour_n of_o our_o religion_n and_o salvation_n of_o man_n soul_n and_o i_o believe_v there_o be_v many_o pious_a bishop_n in_o this_o church_n that_o will_v be_v glad_a to_o have_v such_o just_a proof_n of_o the_o misdemeanour_n and_o neglect_v of_o their_o clergy_n as_o may_v enable_v they_o to_o suspend_v such_o as_o deserve_v it_o and_o put_v into_o employment_n those_o that_o be_v able_a and_o willing_a to_o do_v better_o and_o there_o be_v many_o such_o to_o my_o knowledge_n who_o can_v have_v no_o employment_n in_o the_o church_n while_o these_o naughty_a person_n by_o the_o favour_n of_o careless_a and_o prosane_a patron_n get_v into_o good_a live_n and_o i_o look_v on_o it_o as_o none_o of_o the_o least_o mischief_n of_o separation_n that_o thereby_o those_o that_o shall_v be_v instrument_n of_o reform_v the_o parochial_a church_n by_o example_n admonition_n and_o assist_v the_o exercise_n of_o discipline_n therein_o which_o can_v take_v place_n there_o through_o the_o prevalency_n of_o profaneness_n and_o majority_n of_o evil_a man_n forsake_v they_o and_o leave_v minister_n and_o people_n to_o perish_v together_o at_o least_o for_o any_o thing_n they_o will_v do_v they_o be_v call_v and_o to_o persuade_v the_o people_n to_o do_v they_o in_o a_o constant_a and_o devout_a attendance_n thereon_o and_o to_o beg_v god_n blessing_n on_o their_o endeavour_n for_o their_o people_n edification_n and_o salvation_n in_o this_o way_n they_o have_v find_v success_n beyond_o their_o expectation_n the_o number_n of_o those_o
of_o god_n and_o his_o church_n god_n look_v we_o shall_v be_v just_a and_o faithful_a to_o our_o promise_n in_o small_a thing_n as_o well_o as_o great_a and_o if_o it_o be_v lawful_a for_o they_o to_o be_v uniform_a in_o their_o practice_n in_o these_o matter_n and_o that_o they_o will_v all_o thorough_a study_n the_o rubric_n and_o agree_v together_o in_o what_o case_n they_o may_v be_v excuse_v from_o the_o strict_a observance_n of_o such_o thing_n which_o many_o constant_o omit_v and_o other_o very_o often_o and_o let_v the_o people_n know_v it_o that_o we_o may_v not_o think_v too_o much_o justify_v by_o these_o man_n irregularity_n and_o they_o will_v be_v a_o thousand_o time_n more_o like_a to_o be_v reform_v and_o bring_v into_o good_a order_n by_o the_o method_n prescribe_v by_o the_o law_n of_o church_n and_o state_n if_o they_o have_v not_o this_o to_o say_v for_o themselves_o that_o those_o who_o prosecute_v they_o for_o break_v the_o law_n make_v but_o little_a conscience_n of_o keep_v they_o themselves_o or_o of_o suffer_v other_o that_o believe_v all_o thing_n good_a and_o lawful_a that_o be_v order_v to_o walk_v disorderly_a not_o observe_v the_o law_n but_o through_o break_v it_o to_o dishonour_v the_o wisdom_n of_o church_n and_o state_n themselves_o whereas_o they_o disobey_v not_o out_o of_o contempt_n but_o because_o they_o fear_v to_o dishonour_n god_n and_o offend_v against_o the_o dictate_v of_o their_o own_o conscience_n and_o will_v swear_v as_o i_o have_v hear_v many_o say_v that_o it_o be_v not_o to_o serve_v any_o interest_n but_o out_o of_o pure_a conscience_n they_o conform_v not_o although_o i_o fear_v they_o have_v not_o use_v due_a way_n of_o satisfaction_n now_o it_o be_v mighty_a hard_a to_o give_v a_o reason_n why_o some_o shall_v be_v indulge_v in_o a_o slothful_a or_o contemptuous_a disobedience_n and_o they_o punish_v that_o disobey_v out_o of_o conscience_n i_o confess_v can_v we_o say_v that_o these_o man_n prosecute_v the_o end_n of_o the_o law_n which_o be_v the_o edification_n of_o the_o church_n and_o the_o peace_n and_o prosperity_n of_o the_o state_n unity_n and_o charity_n in_o each_o man_n parish_n in_o which_o case_n some_o thing_n at_o some_o time_n may_v be_v dispense_v with_o and_o a_o man_n may_v be_v sure_a the_o lawmaker_n mean_v they_o shall_v or_o can_v we_o say_v it_o be_v like_a to_o win_v the_o scrupulous_a dissenter_n that_o these_o man_n pass_v over_o many_o thing_n that_o the_o church_n enjoin_v and_o do_v some_o which_o she_o allow_v not_o we_o may_v say_v closet_n and_o to_o church_n accompany_v we_o when_o sickness_n shut_v we_o into_o our_o chamber_n and_o even_o on_o our_o very_a death_n bed_n and_o nothing_o but_o the_o utter_a destruction_n of_o our_o faculty_n can_v eradicate_v this_o love_n of_o money_n these_o lust_n give_v we_o no_o time_n or_o composure_n for_o the_o hearty_a and_o zealous_a service_n of_o god_n but_o though_o our_o body_n be_v present_a our_o mind_n be_v agitate_a with_o thought_n about_o the_o world_n can_v intend_v what_o be_v do_v to_o the_o honour_n of_o god_n and_o their_o soul_n health_n as_o they_o ought_v therefore_o man_n of_o this_o temper_n can_v be_v good_a reader_n till_o they_o be_v convert_v and_o their_o conversion_n be_v very_o difficult_a as_o our_o saviour_n have_v teach_v matth._n 19.24_o there_o remain_v therefore_o but_o this_o way_n to_o make_v they_o read_v well_o that_o it_o be_v for_o their_o worldly_a advantage_n so_o to_o do_v and_o that_o none_o will_v employ_v they_o except_o they_o can_v approve_v themselves_o to_o read_v very_o well_o and_o this_o will_v make_v they_o study_v it_o and_o it_o may_v be_v do_v it_o as_o well_o to_o the_o people_n edification_n sure_a they_o do_v so_o before_o they_o admit_v they_o to_o the_o place_n and_o will_v not_o suffer_v themselves_o by_o any_o importunity_n interest_n relation_n or_o any_o other_o thing_n to_o be_v draw_v to_o accept_v a_o ill_a reader_n to_o the_o dishonour_n of_o this_o service_n whereby_o we_o glorify_v god_n and_o in_o which_o we_o enjoy_v the_o high_a and_o most_o heavenly_a delight_n in_o our_o own_o mind_n and_o spirit_n if_o a_o good_a one_o may_v be_v get_v but_o because_o there_o may_v be_v defect_n of_o such_o and_o that_o they_o may_v be_v force_v to_o accept_v such_o as_o need_v the_o instruction_n encouragement_n and_o good_a example_n of_o the_o minister_n to_o who_o they_o belong_v my_o request_n be_v far_o that_o neither_o their_o reserve_v themselves_o for_o long_a and_o earnest_a preach_v which_o i_o fear_v god_n will_v not_o bless_v when_o set_v up_o to_o the_o contempt_n of_o the_o prayer_n nor_o greatness_n nor_o study_n nor_o business_n nor_o any_o thing_n else_o may_v hinder_v they_o from_o read_v sometime_o themselves_o according_a to_o that_o good_a order_n of_o our_o church_n which_o they_o be_v many_o way_n oblige_v to_o observe_v and_o the_o more_o oblige_v for_o that_o they_o receive_v a_o large_a share_n of_o the_o dignity_n and_o benefit_n thereof_o i_o beseech_v they_o therefore_o that_o once_o a_o month_n at_o the_o least_o they_o will_v do_v not_o the_o ancient_a orderly_a and_o solemn_a way_n of_o our_o church_n deserve_v as_o much_o zeal_n as_o the_o novel_a way_n cry_v up_o with_o they_o be_v not_o the_o honour_n of_o god_n and_o the_o adoration_n of_o god_n and_o of_o our_o saviour_n by_o the_o foresay_a exercise_n can_v but_o dispose_v we_o to_o the_o next_o viz._n the_o chapter_n out_o of_o the_o new_a testament_n which_o be_v call_v new_a for_o its_o excellency_n and_o perpetuety_n above_o the_o old_a and_o report_v to_o we_o either_o the_o wonderful_a work_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o apostle_n their_o holy_a and_o incomparable_a doctrine_n or_o perfect_a and_o exemplary_a life_n can_v be_v too_o diligent_o and_o reverent_o attend_v to_o and_o i_o shall_v think_v those_o who_o have_v strength_n of_o body_n will_v do_v very_o commendable_o in_o stand_v up_o at_o the_o read_n thereof_o on_o the_o same_o reason_n for_o which_o we_o do_v so_o at_o read_v the_o gospel_n then_o we_o be_v order_v to_o return_v again_o to_o the_o work_n of_o praising_n god_n which_o nothing_o but_o carnality_n can_v ever_o be_v weary_a of_o and_o the_o psalm_n here_o appoint_v be_v such_o as_o minister_v most_o fit_o to_o the_o joy_n conceive_v by_o hear_v the_o glad_a tiding_n of_o the_o gospel_n send_v to_o the_o gentile_n of_o which_o we_o be_v as_o well_o as_o to_o the_o jew_n and_o therefore_o to_o show_v that_o we_o have_v not_o receive_v that_o grace_n in_o vain_a nor_o hear_v the_o gospel_n of_o it_o without_o diligent_a heed_n we_o shall_v repeat_v that_o psalm_n devout_o and_o joyful_o the_o next_o that_o follow_v be_v the_o creed_n which_o contain_v those_o matter_n in_o which_o aâ—â—_n christian_n be_v of_o one_o mind_n all_o that_o belieuâ—_v with_o their_o heart_n to_o righteousness_n and_o oâ—_n which_o all_o christian_n must_v make_v publicâ—_fw-la profession_n all_o that_o will_v confess_v with_o theiâ—_n mouth_n to_o salvation_n we_o therefore_o in_o one_o posture_n and_o all_o with_o our_o face_n one_o way_n as_o indeed_o it_o shall_v be_v and_o will_v be_v if_o the_o reader_n do_v give_v the_o example_n do_v with_o one_o mouth_n repeat_v that_o excellent_a form_n of_o sound_a word_n which_o so_o excellent_o minister_v to_o the_o steadfastness_n of_o our_o faith_n our_o rejoice_v in_o hope_n our_o unity_n in_o love_n and_o cheerfulness_n in_o the_o praise_n of_o god_n and_o our_o saviour_n that_o no_o man_n that_o consider_v it_o can_v choose_v but_o stand_v up_o and_o bear_v his_o part_n with_o we_o and_o he_o that_o find_v no_o spiritual_a joy_n and_o elevation_n of_o mind_n in_o repeat_v the_o creed_n can_v have_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o natural_a delight_n in_o hear_v the_o most_o excellent_a sermon_n or_o ravish_a prayer_n for_o neither_o of_o these_o can_v have_v any_o matter_n that_o be_v more_o transport_v and_o if_o it_o be_v only_o the_o word_n or_o passion_n of_o the_o speaker_n that_o affect_v we_o it_o be_v no_o spiritual_a delight_n let_v those_o therefore_o take_v heed_n who_o regard_v not_o to_o honour_n god_n and_o express_v the_o joy_n of_o their_o faith_n by_o a_o due_a performance_n in_o this_o matter_n after_o this_o we_o return_v to_o the_o solemn_a duty_n of_o prayer_n which_o that_o we_o may_v perform_v with_o mutual_a charity_n and_o great_a devotion_n
