commonwealth_n the_o blood_n of_o every_o soul_n that_o perish_v shall_v cry_v against_o he_o unless_o he_o shall_v say_v with_o paul_n act_v 20._o i_o be_o clear_a from_o the_o blood_n of_o all_o man_n etc._n etc._n defender_n it_o be_v not_o the_o blood_n of_o every_o soul_n that_o perish_v that_o can_v cry_v against_o a_o magistrate_n unless_o the_o soul_n perish_v by_o some_o such_o that_o offer_v violence_n to_o their_o body_n the_o roman_a pagan_a emperor_n who_o like_a lion_n persecute_v the_o church_n 2_o tim._n 4.17_o they_o by_o persecution_n increase_v it_o though_o against_o their_o will_n but_o the_o roman_a popish_a bishop_n that_o like_o ravenous_a wolf_n devour_v their_o soul_n leave_v the_o church_n of_o christ_n scarce_o visible_a though_o visible_a and_o they_o a_o very_a small_a remnant_n though_o a_o remnant_n it_o may_v be_v matter_n of_o just_a wonderment_n why_o antichrist_n shall_v find_v more_o favour_n in_o the_o discusser_n eye_n than_o a_o ignorant_a pagan_n when_o the_o one_o hate_v christ_n more_o bitter_o and_o make_v far_o more_o waste_a of_o the_o church_n and_o saint_n of_o christ_n then_o do_v the_o other_o be_v it_o because_o duty_n out_o of_o the_o magistrate_n to_o see_v that_o the_o church_n and_o the_o christian_n under_o his_o government_n shall_v walk_v in_o purity_n of_o worship_n at_o least_o not_o so_o far_o to_o degenerate_v and_o apostate_n as_o to_o provoke_v christ_n to_o depart_v from_o they_o can_v he_o hope_v that_o such_o christian_n will_v be_v faithful_a and_o loyal_a to_o their_o prince_n who_o he_o see_v to_o grow_v false_a and_o disloyal_a to_o their_o god_n sure_o the_o land_n of_o ishmael_n though_o it_o have_v some_o peculiar_a and_z and_o typical_a holiness_n belong_v to_o it_o yet_o no_o other_o than_o what_o do_v prefigure_v the_o holiness_n of_o the_o church_n which_o be_v as_o holy_a to_o christ_n and_o aught_o to_o be_v as_o holy_a to_o we_o as_o the_o land_n of_o israel_n be_v to_o they_o if_o therefore_o it_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o jehosaphat_n hezekiah_n and_o isaiah_n to_o reduce_v the_o people_n of_o israel_n from_o their_o backslide_n because_o they_o be_v a_o holy_a
