have_v enough_o to_o do_v to_o provide_v for_o themselves_o and_o their_o child_n as_o many_o time_n for_o all_o their_o care_n they_o be_v so_o little_a able_a to_o do_v as_o they_o leave_v a_o number_n of_o poor_a orphan_n behind_o they_o at_o the_o charge_n of_o the_o parish_n touch_v they_o i_o grant_v it_o in_o part_n to_o be_v true_a that_o he_o say_v of_o their_o hospitality_n offal_n &_o building_n but_o i_o deny_v their_o single_a life_n to_o have_v be_v the_o only_a cause_n or_o any_o great_a cause_n of_o it_o for_o if_o they_o have_v content_v themselves_o with_o such_o convenient_a maintenance_n as_o have_v be_v fit_a for_o their_o call_n notwithstanding_o their_o single_a life_n they_o shall_v never_o have_v be_v able_a to_o have_v keep_v the_o house_n he_o speak_v of_o &_o have_v build_v church_n with_o the_o surplusage_n of_o their_o live_n but_o this_o it_o be_v that_o make_v they_o rich_a they_o woorship_v he_o that_o promise_v our_o saviour_n christ_n upon_o like_a condition_n to_o give_v he_o all_o the_o k._n &_o glory_n of_o the_o world_n they_o be_v never_o satisfy_v like_o the_o grave_n but_o heap_v live_v upon_o live_v office_n upon_o office_n and_o that_o with_o the_o injury_n and_o wrong_n of_o all_o the_o world_n they_o impropriate_v benefice_n and_o annex_v they_o to_o their_o abbey_n monastery_n &_o other_o place_n &_o to_o their_o prelacy_n &_o dignity_n a_o thing_n utter_o unlawful_a for_o how_o shall_v it_o be_v lawful_a when_o the_o poor_a parish_n as_o he_o say_v give_v the_o tithe_n of_o all_o they_o have_v to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v have_v a_o man_n of_o god_n amongst_o they_o who_o may_v teach_v they_o the_o right_a way_n to_o serve_v and_o honour_n god_n and_o to_o save_v their_o soul_n that_o this_o tithe_n by_o they_o that_o way_n to_o make_v he_o drink_v or_o to_o give_v he_o a_o meal_n meat_n even_o as_o one_o that_o have_v rob_v a_o man_n shall_v give_v he_o a_o penny_n when_o he_o meet_v he_o in_o house_n and_o that_o they_o have_v draw_v more_o than_o the_o three_o part_n of_o the_o whole_a land_n into_o their_o possession_n with_o this_o many_o time_n the_o common_a wealth_n find_v itself_o aggrieve_v and_o provide_v diverse_a and_o sundry_a good_a law_n as_o of_o mortmayne_v mortuary_n and_o sundry_a other_o against_o their_o covetousness_n because_o they_o gather_v all_o to_o they_o as_o if_o they_o will_v have_v dwell_v alone_o in_o the_o land_n and_o yet_o exempt_v themselves_o from_o the_o burden_n &_o charge_n of_o the_o common_a w._n therefore_o in_o this_o excess_n covetousness_n and_o insatiable_a spoil_n if_o for_o policy_n to_o keep_v the_o more_o quiet_o the_o possession_n of_o so_o great_a riches_n in_o their_o hand_n they_o spare_v some_o meal_n and_o offalle_v to_o the_o poor_a people_n or_o build_v college_n and_o abbaye_v they_o can_v be_v esteem_v to_o have_v increase_v the_o wealth_n and_o riches_n of_o the_o people_n who_o so_o diverse_o they_o spoil_v and_o impoverish_v it_o have_v be_v as_o it_o be_v now_o without_o comparison_n more_o profitable_a for_o the_o common_a wealth_n that_o every_o man_n have_v enjoy_v his_o propriety_n in_o such_o a_o portion_n as_o the_o lord_n by_o any_o good_a title_n shall_v bless_v he_o with_o by_o tyll_a and_o manure_v whereof_o he_o may_v have_v be_v able_a to_o maintain_v the_o estate_n god_n have_v call_v he_o unto_o and_o not_o to_o stand_v wait_v for_o offalle_v but_o this_o be_v indeed_o a_o politic_a point_n for_o their_o own_o gain_n for_o hereby_o they_o assure_v their_o estate_n by_o such_o benefit_n and_o pleasure_n and_o bind_v man_n the_o more_o to_o depend_v upon_o they_o and_o to_o favour_v their_o wicked_a superstition_n for_o the_o gain_n sake_n now_o if_o marry_a minister_n do_v not_o the_o like_a what_o hindrance_n be_v this_o to_o the_o common_a wealth_n which_o have_v in_o a_o great_a part_n recover_v again_o into_o her_o own_o hand_n the_o land_n and_o livinge_n whereby_o that_o hospitality_n be_v keep_v and_o these_o house_n build_v which_o in_o all_o good_a reason_n must_v needs_o be_v both_o more_o profitable_a and_o more_o honourable_a for_o the_o common_a wealth_n for_o that_o every_o man_n sit_v at_o home_n in_o his_o own_o house_n and_o eat_v the_o fruit_n of_o his_o own_o ground_n and_o drink_v his_o own_o water_n be_v it_o not_o a_o thousand_o time_n more_o profitable_a and_o more_o to_o his_o just_a contentation_n yea_o and_o more_o honourable_a then_o to_o seek_v it_o else_o where_o and_o to_o have_v it_o at_o a_o other_o man_n door_n further_o if_o of_o that_o live_n they_o lawful_o enjoy_v the_o minister_n provide_v competent_o for_o their_o house_n &_o child_n do_v not_o the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o of_o all_o nation_n allow_v they_o so_o to_o do_v yea_o bound_v they_o to_o it_o for_o he_o that_o provide_v not_o for_o his_o house_n say_v the_o apostle_n have_v deny_v the_o faith_n and_o be_v worse_a than_o a_o infidel_n as_o for_o the_o poverty_n of_o our_o ministry_n whereby_o he_o object_v that_o many_o time_n they_o leave_v a_o number_n of_o poor_a orphan_n at_o the_o parish_n charge_n notwithstanding_o in_o the_o ministry_n a_o number_n be_v sufficient_o provide_v yet_o be_v it_o indeed_o to_o be_v acknowledge_v that_o our_o ministry_n in_o many_o place_n be_v great_o unprovided_a contrary_a to_o the_o commandement_fw-fr of_o god_n &_o to_o the_o just_a cause_n of_o fear_n of_o his_o indignation_n against_o we_o for_o it_o if_o it_o be_v not_o some_o way_n in_o time_n relieve_v but_o this_o especial_o arise_v of_o the_o spoil_n which_o they_o make_v by_o impropriate_v the_o live_n of_o so_o many_o particular_a church_n to_o the_o maintenance_n of_o their_o cloister_n &_o nest_n of_o their_o superstitious_a corruption_n for_o remedy_v whereof_o we_o be_v most_o hummble_a &_o continual_a suitor_n to_o god_n &_o the_o authority_n he_o have_v set_v over_o we_o as_o indeed_o it_o must_v be_v acknowledge_v that_o in_o all_o christian_n duty_n the_o minister_v aught_o to_o be_v maintain_v for_o the_o lord_n have_v express_o command_v both_o in_o the_o law_n &_o in_o the_o gospel_n that_o the_o preacher_n of_o the_o gospel_n shall_v to_o live_v of_o their_o holy_a labour_n to_o which_o duty_n oftentimes_o the_o people_n be_v exhort_v &_o encourage_v with_o promise_n of_o increase_n of_o blessing_n if_o they_o be_v careful_a that_o the_o levite_n which_o be_v among_o they_o be_v not_o forsake_v and_o sure_o see_v they_o leave_v as_o they_o ought_v all_o other_o trade_v wherein_o occupy_v themselves_o they_o may_v through_o
who_o have_v authority_n to_o punish_v the_o soul_n for_o break_v of_o his_o law_n but_o god_n only_o be_v able_a to_o do_v this_o as_o saint_n james_n here_o teach_v and_o our_o saviour_n christ_n in_o the_o gospel_n therefore_o the_o soul_n and_o conscience_n can_v have_v no_o other_o lawgiver_n but_o god_n alone_o likewise_o his_o law_n only_o can_v bind_v the_o conscience_n who_o can_v not_o in_o deed_n believe_v it_o be_v a_o marvel_n how_o ever_o these_o man_n that_o break_v so_o ordinary_o the_o the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o of_o man_n both_o of_o the_o church_n and_o commonwealth_n shall_v hope_v to_o be_v save_v by_o their_o work_n and_o dream_n of_o work_n of_o supererogation_n for_o the_o relief_n of_o other_o but_o though_o we_o acknowledge_v no_o other_o bond_n of_o conscience_n to_o observe_v any_o human_a law_n whatsoever_o than_o the_o law_n of_o the_o ten_o commandment_n do_v lay_v upon_o we_o yet_o do_v it_o not_o hereof_o follow_v that_o our_o conscience_n there_o command_v now_o human_a law_n and_o ordinance_n of_o man_n which_o command_v or_o forbid_v the_o same_o which_o be_v command_v or_o forbid_v by_o the_o law_n of_o god_n as_o thou_o shall_v not_o murder_v commit_v whoredom_n steal_n or_o such_o like_a be_v also_o simple_o good_a and_o bind_v the_o conscience_n yet_o not_o in_o any_o regard_n of_o the_o commandment_n of_o man_n for_o notwithstanding_o god_n be_v author_n of_o they_o who_o can_v not_o err_v yet_o do_v not_o simple_o bind_v the_o conscience_n much_o less_o can_v those_o which_o be_v of_o man_n either_o in_o the_o
