guide_v like_o beast_n every_o step_n they_o take_v and_o thus_o our_o saviour_n have_v institute_v the_o society_n of_o his_o church_n and_o establish_v governor_n in_o it_o when_o he_o enjoin_v they_o to_o be_v careful_a to_o preserve_v unity_n no_o man_n can_v be_v so_o dull_a as_o not_o to_o understand_v that_o he_o thereby_o require_v they_o to_o make_v use_n of_o all_o mean_n of_o obtain_v it_o but_o especial_o such_o as_o be_v necessary_a to_o its_o preservation_n in_o all_o society_n and_o therefore_o whether_o this_o unity_n of_o government_n be_v enjoin_v in_o express_a word_n in_o scripture_n i_o will_v not_o concern_v myself_o to_o inquire_v because_o it_o be_v as_o clear_v there_o to_o all_o man_n of_o common_a sense_n as_o if_o it_o be_v so_o enjoin_v and_o that_o be_v enough_o but_o second_o there_o appear_v no_o such_o thing_n in_o the_o apostolical_a practice_n what_o do_v not_o the_o apostle_n keep_v unity_n among_o themselves_o do_v they_o not_o govern_v the_o church_n as_o much_o as_o they_o can_v by_o common_a consent_n do_v not_o every_o particular_a apostle_n give_v a_o account_n of_o his_o own_o church_n to_o the_o whole_a college_n do_v they_o not_o advise_v together_o upon_o emergent_a controversy_n and_o be_v not_o every_o man_n conclude_v by_o the_o vote_n of_o the_o whole_a council_n it_o be_v strange_a to_o i_o to_o see_v it_o
