the_o loss_n both_o of_o our_o estate_n friend_n and_o life_n then_o dishonour_v he_o to_o the_o second_o argument_n ground_v upon_o the_o instance_n of_o a_o general_n i_o answer_v answ_n 2_o that_o the_o case_n be_v far_o different_a for_o i_o presume_v the_o argument_n presuppose_v that_o general_n to_o be_v trust_v by_o the_o king_n for_o the_o safety_n and_o protection_n of_o that_o city_n and_o not_o for_o the_o destruction_n of_o it_o and_o that_o upon_o this_o supposition_n they_o do_v resist_v he_o as_o a_o traitor_n to_o his_o trust_n and_o in_o this_o case_n the_o resistance_n be_v lawful_a because_o his_o commission_n do_v not_o extend_v to_o that_o act_n and_o he_o be_v only_o a_o magistrate_n so_o far_o as_o his_o commission_n do_v authorise_v he_o but_o suppose_v the_o king_n shall_v have_v judge_v that_o city_n to_o be_v destroy_v and_o authorise_v that_o general_n to_o execute_v that_o judgement_n in_o this_o case_n it_o be_v absolute_o unlawful_a to_o resist_v and_o all_o act_n of_o opposition_n in_o the_o city_n or_o soldiery_n be_v the_o king_n subject_n be_v absolute_a treason_n and_o rebellion_n because_o the_o king_n commission_n from_o god_n do_v extend_v absolute_o both_o to_o our_o estate_n and_o person_n nor_o do_v he_o
