to_o the_o uttermost_a and_o yet_o even_o in_o a_o regenerate_a man_n these_o desire_n be_v but_o of_o half_a the_o man_n and_o therefore_o in_o a_o unregenerate_a man_n when_o he_o be_v carry_v to_o sin_n with_o his_o whole_a man_n such_o a_o one_o desire_n be_v more_o vehement_a hos_fw-la 7.4_o their_o heart_n be_v hot_a as_o a_o oven_n they_o go_v out_o after_o it_o with_o greediness_n and_o the_o law_n will_v embitter_v they_o to_o a_o man_n exceed_o that_o a_o man_n do_v not_o enjoy_v they_o with_o that_o sweetness_n and_o delight_n that_o otherwise_o he_o shall_v do_v because_o the_o sentence_n of_o the_o law_n and_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n follow_v he_o with_o threat_n so_o that_o still_o they_o do_v add_v water_n to_o his_o wine_n and_o mix_v it_o with_o great_a discontent_n than_o he_o shall_v otherwise_o have_v for_o a_o man_n come_v to_o it_o with_o a_o guilty_a gall_a and_o self-condemning_a conscience_n and_o so_o he_o can_v take_v no_o pleasure_n or_o but_o half_a the_o pleasure_n that_o else_o he_o shall_v take_v and_o therefore_o the_o endeavour_n of_o the_o man_n be_v to_o put_v out_o the_o eye_n of_o conscience_n and_o to_o make_v it_o grow_v course_n of_o his_o life_n and_o therefore_o although_o by_o abstain_v the_o lust_n may_v seem_v weaken_v and_o to_o decay_v by_o degree_n yet_o real_o it_o grow_v and_o they_o prove_v more_o desperate_o wicked_a as_o appear_v by_o man_n that_o the_o unclean_a spirit_n be_v go_v out_o of_o and_o return_n with_o seven_o worse_a spirit_n and_o they_o that_o have_v make_v great_a and_o goodly_a show_n of_o holiness_n yet_o afterward_o fall_v into_o the_o sin_n against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n 2._o a_o man_n that_o do_v duty_n from_o the_o coaction_n of_o the_o law_n be_v partial_a respect_n of_o set_v upon_o duty_n be_v take_v away_o his_o duty_n will_v wither_v for_o either_o pray_v will_v make_v a_o man_n leave_v sin_v or_o sin_v will_v make_v he_o leave_v pray_v or_o if_o not_o public_o yet_o will_v at_o least_o kill_v all_o his_o secret_a duty_n and_o make_v those_o that_o be_v public_a degenerate_a whole_o into_o a_o form_n 4._o whatsoever_o a_o man_n do_v by_o coaction_n of_o the_o law_n a_o man_n have_v no_o sweetness_n in_o it_o it_o be_v with_o no_o delight_n and_o complacency_n for_o thing_n force_v be_v not_o pleasant_a let_v a_o man_n do_v the_o covenant_n there_o be_v a_o oath_n make_v by_o god_n the_o father_n to_o christ_n and_o there_o be_v a_o oath_n also_o make_v to_o we_o there_o be_v a_o oath_n make_v unto_o christ_n and_o therefore_o he_o be_v say_v to_o be_v make_v a_o priest_n by_o a_o covenant_n oath_n psal_n 110.4_o and_o the_o oath_n to_o we_o heb._n 6.17_o 18._o who_o be_v heir_n of_o promise_n that_o by_o two_o immutable_a thing_n in_o which_o it_o be_v impossible_a for_o god_n to_o lie_v etc._n etc._n god_n have_v take_v up_o unchangeable_a counsel_n concern_v this_o covenant_n he_o do_v therefore_o to_o show_v the_o
