with_o the_o observation_n of_o they_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o apostle_n peter_n also_o be_v of_o the_o same_o strain_n with_o the_o two_o former_a strong_o bend_v to_o fill_v the_o heart_n and_o life_n of_o man_n with_o righteousness_n and_o true_a holiness_n and_o this_o by_o threaten_a judgement_n and_o wrath_n against_o the_o disobedient_a 1_o pet._n 4.17_o 18._o if_o judgement_n begin_v at_o the_o house_n of_o god_n what_o shall_v the_o end_n be_v of_o they_o that_o obey_v not_o the_o gospel_n of_o god_n and_o if_o the_o righteous_a scarce_o be_v save_v where_o shall_v the_o unto_o those_o that_o after_o shall_v live_v ungodly_a if_o god_n have_v only_o threaten_v these_o namely_o the_o angel_n and_o those_o wicked_a man_n the_o inhabitant_n of_o the_o old_a world_n etc._n etc._n but_o have_v never_o do_v execution_n according_a to_o the_o tenor_n of_o his_o threaten_n man_n may_v have_v think_v that_o he_o have_v only_o threaten_v man_n to_o keep_v they_o in_o awe_n and_o no_o more_o but_o such_o example_n as_o these_o show_v that_o when_o god_n do_v threaten_v he_o doubtless_o do_v it_o not_o in_o vain_a only_o to_o threaten_v but_o will_v do_v execution_n according_a to_o his_o threaten_n in_o case_n man_n continue_v in_o their_o sinful_a way_n so_o that_o there_o be_v no_o ground_n to_o judge_v and_o determine_v a_o ministry_n to_o be_v legal_a because_o the_o bent_n and_o face_n of_o it_o be_v set_v as_o it_o be_v to_o press_v man_n to_o the_o keep_n of_o the_o command_v of_o god_n contain_v in_o the_o moral_a law_n nor_o because_o it_o threaten_v with_o the_o great_a severity_n and_o with_o the_o vengeance_n of_o hell_n fire_n they_o that_o shall_v neglect_v any_o of_o his_o command_n it_o may_v be_v excellent_a and_o high_o evangelical_n notwithstanding_o that_o which_o be_v pretend_v that_o it_o namely_o the_o law_n shall_v not_o be_v press_v upon_o man_n because_o they_o be_v not_o under_o the_o law_n but_o under_o his_o own_o body_n be_v make_v most_o transcendent_o glorious_a not_o but_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v know_v among_o they_o by_o the_o surpass_a glory_n of_o his_o body_n above_o they_o as_o ready_o as_o the_o sun_n may_v be_v know_v from_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o star_n who_o light_n nevertheless_o be_v of_o the_o same_o kind_n with_o the_o light_n of_o the_o sun_n and_o derive_v from_o it_o the_o judgement_n of_o our_o sense_n in_o this_o that_o one_o star_n differ_v from_o another_o in_o glory_n 1_o cor._n 15.41_o meaning_n not_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o nature_n or_o kind_n but_o in_o dependency_n respect_n and_o relation_n between_o and_o among_o they_o not_o only_o if_o so_o much_o to_o serve_v the_o world_n in_o those_o inferior_a accommodation_n of_o light_n influence_n distinction_n of_o season_n etc._n etc._n for_o in_o reason_n he_o may_v have_v as_o well_o provide_v for_o these_o and_o all_o such_o end_n and_o purpose_n by_o some_o other_o contrivance_n and_o order_n of_o they_o at_o least_o in_o some_o particular_n but_o that_o they_o may_v be_v a_o natural_a type_n or_o representation_n wherein_o he_o purpose_v to_o appear_v in_o glorify_v his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n on_o the_o one_o hand_n and_o his_o saint_n respective_o on_o the_o other_o for_o he_o purpose_v to_o confer_v and_o settle_v upon_o christ_n such_o a_o heap_a measure_n of_o glory_n by_o which_o he_o shall_v be_v know_v to_o be_v the_o only_o beget_v of_o the_o father_n joh._n 1.14_o and_o be_v eminent_o conspicuous_a among_o and_o over_o all_o his_o saint_n and_o from_o which_o all_o these_o according_a to_o their_o different_a capacity_n shall_v be_v furnish_v and_o fill_v with_o glory_n even_o as_o all_o the_o star_n according_a to_o their_o several_a magnitude_n and_o lord_n christ_n in_o his_o magnificent_a bounty_n unto_o the_o world_n at_o his_o ascension_n into_o heaven_n when_o he_o give_v gift_n unto_o man_n some_o apostle_n some_o prophet_n some_o evangelist_n and_o some_o pastor_n and_o teacher_n be_v the_o perfect_a of_o his_o saint_n the_o build_n up_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n in_o all_o and_o every_o the_o member_n of_o it_o unto_o a_o perfect_a man_n in_o the_o latter_a the_o same_o apostle_n profess_v his_o comportment_n with_o the_o say_v great_a end_n of_o his_o great_a lord_n and_o master_n in_o these_o word_n speak_v of_o he_o who_o we_o preach_v warn_v every_o man_n and_o teach_v every_o man_n in_o all_o wisdom_n that_o we_o may_v present_v every_o man_n perfect_a in_o christ_n jesus_n but_o enough_o i_o suppose_v have_v be_v already_o allege_v and_o argue_v from_o the_o scripture_n to_o settle_v this_o in_o the_o judgement_n and_o conscience_n of_o man_n for_o truth_n that_o there_o be_v no_o person_n of_o mankind_n at_o least_o not_o among_o the_o saint_n but_o stand_v bind_v in_o duty_n to_o lay_v himself_o out_o with_o all_o his_o might_n for_o the_o obtain_n of_o the_o high_a prize_n in_o glory_n if_o you_o shall_v now_o ask_v i_o a_o reason_n of_o this_o assertion_n because_o it_o may_v seem_v somewhat_o strange_a unto_o you_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v matter_n of_o duty_n unto_o man_n and_o woman_n to_o desire_n and_o seek_v after_o the_o great_a excellency_n in_o glory_n sect._n 15_o however_o it_o may_v be_v their_o duty_n to_o excel_v in_o all_o righteousness_n and_o to_o strive_v after_o perfection_n in_o this_o life_n etc._n etc._n for_o these_o two_o seem_v to_o be_v of_o a_o much_o differ_a consideration_n i_o shall_v endeavour_v to_o satisfy_v you_o with_o present_v you_o with_o of_o man_n and_o much_o more_o among_o those_o that_o believe_v to_o consult_v and_o endeavour_v the_o clear_a and_o full_a manifestation_n of_o how_o high_a a_o esteem_n and_o value_v the_o service_n of_o his_o poor_a creature_n man_n be_v with_o god_n when_o they_o be_v perform_v upon_o the_o best_a term_n that_o he_o enable_v they_o to_o perform_v they_o this_o be_v a_o consideration_n unto_o the_o truth_n whereof_o every_o man_n judgement_n and_o conscience_n i_o may_v well_o presume_v will_v ready_o subscribe_v for_o there_o be_v nothing_o in_o god_n but_o what_o be_v discover_v and_o make_v know_v make_v for_o his_o glory_n and_o the_o full_a and_o more_o convince_a any_o discovery_n of_o his_o thing_n be_v his_o glory_n proportionable_o be_v so_o much_o the_o more_o advance_v he_o prize_v righteousness_n and_o faithfulness_n find_v in_o their_o exaltation_n in_o man_n but_o they_o who_o shall_v strengthen_v the_o hand_n of_o god_n by_o their_o high_a act_n in_o way_n and_o work_n of_o righteousness_n and_o true_a holiness_n to_o bring_v forth_o the_o best_a robe_n of_o glory_n to_o put_v upon_o they_o these_o be_v the_o man_n that_o will_v do_v their_o god_n that_o most_o worthy_a and_o acceptable_a service_n to_o give_v he_o a_o opportunity_n of_o declare_v upon_o the_o most_o unquestionable_a term_n of_o satisfaction_n unto_o the_o world_n of_o how_o sacred_a a_o repute_n and_o esteem_v with_o he_o so_o poor_a and_o vile_a a_o creature_n as_o man_n be_v may_v come_v to_o be_v if_o he_o quit_v and_o behave_v himself_o only_o for_o the_o few_o day_n of_o his_o earthly_a pilgrimage_n according_o god_n delight_v in_o those_o creature_n most_o that_o will_v draw_v he_o forth_o in_o his_o goodness_n and_o bounty_n most_o free_o and_o full_o as_o appear_v
