and_o many_o other_o far_o contrary_a to_o the_o contrary_a disposition_n of_o the_o wicked_a who_o seek_v to_o deny_v exteâ—…ate_n or_o cloak_n and_o cover_v their_o sin_n as_o our_o first_o parent_n and_o force_n of_o persecution_n she_o be_v drive_v and_o draw_v to_o the_o observation_n of_o humane_a ordinance_n and_o neglect_v of_o she_o own_o call_n in_o the_o duty_n thereof_o be_v commit_v unto_o she_o in_o these_o word_n she_o turn_v her_o speech_n again_o to_o her_o wellbeloved_a pray_v he_o most_o earnest_o for_o his_o direction_n of_o she_o in_o time-comming_a that_o she_o may_v more_o constant_o adhere_v to_o his_o truth_n and_o feed_v only_o on_o that_o green_a pasture_n speak_v of_o psal_n 23._o as_o also_o for_o his_o grace_n and_o protection_n that_o she_o fail_v not_o nor_o fall_v away_o because_o of_o persecution_n which_o be_v compare_v to_o the_o scorch_a heat_n of_o the_o sun_n at_o noon_n day_n and_o this_o she_o do_v in_o allegorical_a term_n borrow_v from_o a_o shepherd_n and_o his_o flock_n and_o therefore_o she_o desire_v her_o belove_a as_o the_o shepherd_n of_o his_o sheep_n that_o for_o direction_n he_o will_v show_v she_o where_o he_o feed_v and_o for_o refresh_v cool_a and_o protection_n where_o he_o cause_v his_o flock_n to_o lie_v down_o at_o noon_n day_n that_o so_o she_o turn_v not_o aside_o be_v otherwise_o destitute_a of_o these_o from_o he_o and_o his_o flock_n to_o the_o flock_n of_o other_o who_o be_v seducer_n and_o be_v here_o call_v his_o companion_n these_o word_n then_o divide_v themselves_o into_o a_o petition_n and_o a_o they_o may_v be_v in_o like_a manner_n know_v to_o be_v he_o 3._o as_o a_o shepherd_n feed_v his_o sheep_n as_o we_o see_v in_o this_o verse_n and_o ps_n 23._o 3._o even_o so_o do_v christ_n jesus_n feed_v his_o sheep_n in_o the_o ordinary_a exercise_n of_o the_o ministry_n as_o he_o say_v to_o peter_n feed_v my_o sheep_n &_o by_o the_o green_a pasture_n of_o the_o wholesome_a food_n of_o his_o word_n ezek._n 34._o 2._o 4._o as_o a_o shepherd_n lead_v out_o his_o sheep_n go_v before_o himself_o joh._n 10._o 4._o and_o they_o follow_v he_o even_o so_o the_o lord_n jesus_n he_o lead_v his_o and_o defend_v they_o from_o their_o ravenous_a enemy_n as_o we_o see_v david_n do_v from_o the_o lion_n and_o bear_n even_o so_o do_v our_o saviour_n christ_n jesus_n guard_n and_o defend_v his_o own_o elect_a from_o all_o their_o spiritual_a and_o raven_a enemy_n that_o they_o prevail_v not_o over_o they_o &_o therefore_o ps_n 84._o 11._o he_o be_v say_v to_o be_v both_o a_o sun_n &_o a_o shield_n unto_o they_o so_o that_o as_o david_n profess_v psalm_n 33._o 4._o though_o they_o shall_v walk_v through_o the_o valley_n of_o the_o shadow_n of_o death_n they_o need_v not_o fear_v any_o
