locust_n who_o fair_a face_n have_v heretofore_o bewitch_v thou_o o_o the_o sting_n the_o sting_n that_o they_o carry_v in_o their_o tail_n which_o be_v now_o all_o that_o remain_v to_o thou_o 2._o thou_o must_v part_v with_o thy_o near_a and_o dear_a relation_n as_o thy_o dear_a wife_n or_o dear_a husband_n with_o thy_o belove_a child_n death_n will_v separate_v thou_o from_o they_o all_o ah_o sinner_n sad_a will_v it_o be_v to_o part_v with_o these_o here_o to_o live_v for_o ever_o with_o the_o devil_n and_o damn_a in_o hell_n and_o how_o will_v it_o torment_v thou_o when_o you_o must_v part_v to_o remember_v to_o how_o little_a good_a purpose_n you_o live_v together_o 3._o thou_o must_v part_v with_o thy_o wealth_n and_o riches_n carry_v nothing_o away_o with_o thou_o of_o all_o thy_o enjoyment_n we_o bring_v nothing_o into_o the_o world_n 6.7_o and_o it_o be_v certain_a we_o can_v carry_v nothing_o out_o as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v but_o as_o we_o come_v naked_a into_o ghost_n now_o christ_n call_v upon_o thou_o sabbath_n after_o sabbath_n by_o his_o minister_n and_o ambassador_n woo_v and_o beseech_v thou_o to_o abandon_v thy_o lust_n to_o cast_v away_o thy_o sin_n and_o to_o cast_v thyself_o into_o his_o arm_n to_o accept_v of_o the_o reconciliation_n purchase_v by_o his_o blood_n but_o ere_o long_o thou_o shall_v hear_v no_o more_o of_o these_o thing_n not_o a_o sabbath_n more_o not_o a_o sermon_n more_o not_o a_o promise_n not_o one_o word_n more_o of_o grace_n of_o mercy_n of_o hope_n for_o ever_o when_o thou_o will_v give_v if_o thou_o have_v they_o ten_o thousand_o world_n for_o one_o moment_n of_o that_o merciful_a time_n of_o grace_n which_o thou_o have_v so_o long_o abuse_v for_o a_o drop_n of_o that_o precious_a blood_n which_o thou_o have_v so_o long_o trample_v under_o thy_o foot_n yea_o for_o one_o sabbath_n more_o to_o have_v christ_n once_o more_o tender_v to_o thou_o in_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o alas_o it_o will_v not_o be_v grant_v ah_o sinner_n then_o will_v thou_o cry_v out_o of_o thy_o sin_n and_o cry_v for_o mercy_n mercy_n mercy_n lord_n to_o a_o die_a soul_n that_o be_o just_a sink_n perish_v under_o the_o load_n of_o my_o iniquity_n then_o will_v thou_o begin_v to_o wish_v when_o it_o be_v too_o late_o that_o thou_o have_v spend_v thy_o precious_a time_n to_o better_a purpose_n that_o thou_o have_v mind_v more_o the_o thing_n of_o eternity_n that_o thou_o have_v close_v with_o the_o tender_n and_o offer_v of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o that_o thou_o have_v better_o improve_v the_o mean_n and_o opportunity_n of_o grace_n which_o thou_o do_v once_o enjoy_v thou_o will_v then_o say_v oh_o if_o the_o lord_n will_v be_v please_v to_o add_v a_o few_o year_n more_o to_o my_o life_n how_o will_v i_o contemn_v the_o world_n and_o the_o vanity_n thereof_o how_o exact_o will_v i_o order_v my_o conversation_n how_o careful_a will_v i_o be_v of_o duty_n how_o watchful_a against_o sin_n how_o will_v i_o bestir_v myself_o to_o work_v out_o my_o own_o salvation_n but_o ah_o sinner_n the_o time_n of_o thy_o departure_n be_v at_o hand_n and_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o a_o reprieve_n for_o one_o day_n long_o and_o therefore_o all_o these_o good_a wish_n and_o purpose_n come_v too_o late_o there_o be_v two_o thing_n especial_o which_o will_v aggravate_v a_o sinner_n misery_n at_o his_o death_n 1._o to_o think_v what_o possibility_n of_o make_v his_o peace_n with_o god_n he_o have_v have_v all_o his_o life_n time_n to_o remember_v how_o often_o he_o have_v be_v invite_v to_o accept_v of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o yet_o will_v not_o 2._o to_o think_v that_o now_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o mercy_n have_v by_o his_o sin_n shut_v heaven-gate_n and_o harden_a god_n heart_n against_o he_o ah_o sinner_n then_o will_v thou_o in_o the_o bitterness_n of_o thy_o soul_n cry_v out_o and_o say_v the_o god_n of_o mercy_n have_v utter_o forsake_v i_o and_o the_o devil_n who_o thy_o own_o conscience_n and_o will_v not_o open_v unto_o he_o to_o thou_o his_o blood_n will_v be_v then_o a_o fountain_n seal_v so_o that_o thou_o shall_v not_o partake_v of_o the_o least_o benefit_n thereof_o because_o in_o thy_o life_n time_n thou_o have_v so_o often_o slight_v it_o yea_o and_o crucify_v he_o afresh_o by_o thy_o bloody_a sin_n ah_o sinner_n sinner_n whither_o will_v thou_o flee_v for_o comfort_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o thy_o distress_n it_o will_v then_o be_v too_o late_o to_o cry_v out_o oh_o that_o the_o time_n i_o have_v spend_v in_o tavern_n and_o alehouse_n in_o sport_n and_o pastime_n in_o carnal_a pleasure_n and_o sensual_a delight_n i_o have_v spend_v in_o prayer_n and_o fast_v in_o humble_v and_o repent_v it_o will_v then_o be_v too_o late_o to_o cry_v with_o balaam_n oh_o that_o i_o may_v die_v the_o death_n of_o the_o righteous_a when_o thou_o have_v neglect_v to_o live_v the_o life_n of_o the_o righteous_a for_o look_v as_o the_o life_n be_v so_o common_o be_v the_o death_n and_o as_o death_n leave_v a_o man_n so_o the_o last_o judgement_n shall_v find_v he_o and_o now_o sinner_n thy_o last_o sand_n be_v run_v out_o thy_o day_n past_a and_o the_o devil_n long_o look_v for_o day_n be_v come_v who_o wait_v for_o thy_o soul_n so_o soon_o as_o it_o go_v out_o of_o thy_o body_n oh_o what_o a_o direful_a screech_n will_v thy_o soul_n give_v when_o it_o pass_v out_o of_o thy_o body_n into_o the_o devil_n clutch_n to_o be_v carry_v by_o he_o into_o the_o bottomless_a burn_a lake_n oh_o how_o shall_v the_o consideration_n of_o these_o unspeakable_a misery_n which_o be_v the_o portion_n of_o natural_a and_o unregenerate_a man_n at_o their_o death_n startle_v and_o waken_v all_o such_o worldling_n and_o sensualist_n who_o so_o they_o may_v increase_v their_o wealth_n and_o satiate_v themselves_o with_o worldly_a pleasure_n and_o delight_n take_v no_o thought_n now_o nor_o make_v any_o provision_n against_o this_o dreadful_a day_n of_o reckon_n i_o mean_v the_o
chain_n and_o he_o can_v go_v one_o link_n thereof_o far_o than_o he_o please_v 2_o from_o siâ—_n though_o the_o regenerate_v be_v not_o free_v from_o the_o in-being_a of_o sin_n which_o do_v and_o will_v live_v in_o they_o so_o long_o as_o they_o live_v in_o this_o world_n yet_o be_v they_o free_v both_o from_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n and_o from_o the_o power_n and_o dominion_n of_o sin_n 1._o from_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n that_o be_v from_o that_o wrath_n and_o punishment_n which_o be_v due_a to_o sin_n so_o that_o none_o of_o our_o sin_n shall_v be_v able_a to_o condemn_v we_o for_o christ_n as_o our_o surety_n saviour_n and_o redeemer_n do_v bear_v all_o our_o sin_n in_o his_o body_n upon_o the_o tree_n and_o there_o offer_v up_o his_o life_n as_o a_o all_o sufficient_a sacrifice_n and_o full_a satisfaction_n to_o god_n justice_n for_o the_o same_o so_o that_o god_n be_v full_o satisfy_v by_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n for_o our_o sin_n he_o will_v not_o nay_o he_o can_v in_o justice_n require_v satisfaction_n again_o from_o we_o well_o therefore_o may_v the_o apostle_n make_v this_o bold_a challenge_n 34._o who_o shall_v lay_v any_o thing_n to_o the_o charge_n of_o god_n elect_v see_v christ_n have_v die_v and_o by_o his_o death_n full_o satisfy_v god_n justice_n for_o their_o sin_n 2._o from_o the_o power_n and_o dominion_n of_o sin_n which_o come_v to_o pass_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n convey_v to_o they_o whereby_o their_o sin_n be_v in_o some_o measure_n mortify_v and_o subdue_v so_o that_o they_o do_v not_o rule_v nor_o reign_v in_o they_o as_o former_o sin_n shall_v not_o have_v dominion_n over_o you_o say_v the_o apostle_n and_o why_o because_o you_o be_v not_o under_o the_o law_n but_o under_o grace_n in_o our_o unregenerate_a be_v regenerate_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n we_o be_v free_v though_o not_o from_o the_o in-being_a yet_o from_o the_o dominion_n of_o sin_n so_o that_o though_o sin_n may_v tyrannize_v over_o we_o yet_o shall_v it_o not_o reign_v in_o we_o we_o shall_v not_o yield_v a_o free_a and_o willing_a obedience_n to_o the_o command_n thereof_o this_o be_v the_o great_a comfort_n of_o god_n child_n that_o though_o sin_n be_v not_o remove_v yet_o it_o be_v subdue_v though_o they_o oftentimes_o feel_v the_o work_n and_o stir_n of_o corruption_n in_o they_o which_o make_v they_o to_o have_v many_o a_o sad_a heart_n and_o wet_a eye_n yet_o be_v they_o free_v through_o christ_n from_o the_o dominion_n of_o sin_n 3._o the_o regenerate_v be_v free_v from_o the_o law_n not_o only_o from_o the_o ceremonial_a and_o judicial_a law_n which_o be_v peculiar_a to_o the_o jew_n and_o die_v with_o the_o decay_n of_o their_o commonwealth_n but_o likewise_o from_o the_o moral_a law_n which_o concern_v all_o man_n at_o all_o time_n in_o all_o place_n yet_o not_o as_o it_o be_v a_o rule_n of_o obedience_n and_o christian_a walk_v for_o so_o it_o still_o remain_v in_o force_n even_o to_o the_o child_n of_o god_n even_o after_o their_o regeneration_n but_o 1._o as_o it_o be_v a_o covenant_n of_o work_n or_o as_o the_o covenant_n thereof_o be_v work_n we_o be_v not_o absolute_o bind_v to_o such_o rigour_n and_o exactness_n as_o that_o require_v indeed_o we_o ought_v to_o endeavour_v after_o the_o most_o perfect_a obedience_n and_o to_o be_v humble_v for_o our_o defect_n and_o fail_n therein_o but_o not_o to_o despair_v because_o of_o they_o for_o all_o fail_n not_o allow_v be_v pardon_v beside_o christ_n our_o surety_n have_v in_o all_o thing_n fullfil_v the_o law_n and_o perform_v perfect_a obedience_n thereunto_o so_o that_o the_o strictness_n of_o the_o law_n be_v fulfil_v by_o our_o surety_n it_o be_v not_o expect_v that_o it_o shall_v be_v perform_v by_o we_o in_o our_o own_o person_n 2._o we_o be_v free_v from_o the_o curse_n and_o condemnation_n of_o the_o law_n 3.13_o christ_n say_v the_o apostle_n have_v redeem_v we_o from_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n be_v surpass_v the_o love_n of_o natural_a parent_n to_o their_o child_n be_v thou_o a_o child_n of_o god_n by_o regeneration_n then_o look_v up_o to_o thy_o heavenly_a father_n for_o a_o supply_n of_o all_o good_a thing_n for_o can_v they_o that_o be_v evil_a know_v how_o to_o give_v good_a gift_n to_o their_o child_n say_v our_o saviour_n and_o shall_v not_o your_o heavenly_a father_n give_v to_o you_o the_o thing_n whereof_o you_o have_v need_n he_o feed_v the_o fowl_n of_o the_o air_n and_o the_o beast_n of_o the_o field_n and_o he_o that_o be_v careful_a to_o provide_v for_o his_o hawk_n
