love_n of_o this_o present_a life_n and_o what_o can_v better_a persuade_v we_o and_o wean_v we_o from_o the_o love_n of_o this_o world_n than_o a_o due_a consideration_n of_o death_n we_o know_v we_o must_v all_o die_v and_o therefore_o we_o shall_v prepare_v ourselves_o for_o it_o if_o any_o profane_a person_n among_o we_o know_v that_o this_o night_n must_v be_v his_o last_o night_n and_o that_o know_v that_o god_n hear_v not_o sinner_n why_o we_o know_v it_o by_o experience_n by_o example_n a_o drunkard_n pray_v to_o god_n to_o cure_v he_o of_o his_o drunkenness_n and_o yet_o he_o do_v not_o and_o wind_a and_o turn_v from_o this_o side_n to_o that_o side_n do_v he_o no_o good_a do_v we_o not_o say_v of_o he_o that_o he_o be_v a_o dead_a man_n so_o if_o a_o man_n prayer_n and_o supplication_n to_o god_n be_v endless_a and_o fruitless_a that_o man_n must_v needs_o be_v a_o dead_a and_o a_o damn_a man_n so_o long_o as_o he_o go_v on_o in_o that_o case_n now_o we_o come_v to_o the_o second_o part_n of_o the_o text_n the_o sensibleness_n of_o the_o gen._n godly_a soul_n whether_o it_o speed_v or_o no_o the_o soul_n that_o pray_v aright_o that_o pray_v unsatiable_o it_o be_v able_a to_o say_v the_o lord_n do_v hear_v i_o the_o lord_n do_v grant_v i_o the_o thing_n that_o i_o pray_v to_o he_o for_o thus_o say_v jonah_n i_o cry_v unto_o the_o lord_n and_o he_o hear_v i_o knowledge_n when_o he_o make_v his_o people_n so_o to_o know_v sin_n as_o to_o loathe_v it_o and_o to_o come_v out_o of_o it_o so_o to_o know_v repentance_n as_o to_o repent_v indeed_o second_o discrimination_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v there_o be_v some_o that_o be_v in_o he_o and_o some_o that_o be_v not_o in_o he_o if_o any_o man_n say_v he_o abide_v in_o he_o he_o ought_v himself_o to_o walk_v even_o as_o he_o walk_v so_o that_o here_o the_o apostle_n will_v put_v a_o difference_n between_o the_o sound_n and_o the_o rotten-hearted_a in_o his_o congregation_n hence_o observe_v
