increase_v and_o strengthen_v upon_o he_o natural_o we_o be_v in_o love_n with_o the_o world_n and_o have_v decline_v god_n and_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n consider_v he_o in_o his_o natural_n he_o can_v know_v the_o thing_n of_o the_o spirit_n 1_o cor._n 2._o 14._o and_o the_o carnal_a mind_n can_v be_v subject_a to_o the_o law_n of_o god_n be_v at_o enmity_n against_o he_o rom._n 8._o 7._o there_o be_v other_o place_n express_v this_o can_v which_o derive_v it_o from_o custom_n they_o be_v become_v slave_n to_o their_o lust_n and_o their_o sin_n have_v get_v such_o a_o hand_n over_o they_o that_o they_o know_v not_o how_o to_o break_v they_o off_o jer._n 13._o 23._o can_v the_o ethiopian_a change_n his_o skin_n or_o the_o leopard_n his_o spot_n then_o may_v you_o also_o do_v the_o justice_n of_o god_n to_o punish_v he_o with_o eternal_a death_n for_o the_o neglect_n of_o that_o which_o he_o be_v not_o able_a to_o do_v and_o how_o can_v it_o stand_v with_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o supreme_a lawgiver_n to_o exhort_v he_o by_o promise_n and_o threaten_n who_o have_v no_o power_n to_o do_v what_o he_o be_v exhort_v to_o do_v i_o answer_v 1._o as_o to_o the_o first_o how_o it_o can_v stand_v with_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n to_o require_v the_o debt_n of_o obedience_n from_o he_o that_o be_v not_o able_a to_o pay_v god_n have_v not_o lose_v his_o right_n though_o man_n have_v lose_v his_o power_n their_o impotency_n do_v not_o dissolve_v their_o obligation_n a_o drunken_a servant_n be_v a_o servant_n still_o it_o be_v against_o all_o reason_n a_o master_n shall_v lose_v his_o right_n by_o the_o servant_n default_n a_o prodigal_a debtor_n have_v nothing_o to_o pay_v yet_o he_o be_v liable_a to_o be_v sue_v for_o the_o debt_n without_o any_o injustice_n natural_a justice_n of_o man._n man_n think_v it_o harsh_a to_o suffer_v for_o adam_n fault_n to_o which_o they_o be_v not_o conscious_a and_o actual_o consent_v yea_o but_o consider_v every_o man_n will_v find_v a_o adam_n in_o his_o own_o heart_n the_o old-man_n be_v there_o we_o be_v still_o sin_v away_o those_o relic_n of_o natural_a light_n in_o conscience_n and_o those_o few_o moral_a proud_a prodigal_a debtor_n that_o be_v weaken_v and_o waste_v himself_o more_o and_o more_o we_o be_v proud_a therefore_o god_n may_v exact_v it_o of_o we_o we_o think_v we_o be_v able_a to_o obey_v will_v be_v some_o sprouting_n out_o again_o until_o the_o wall_n be_v pull_v down_o so_o until_o these_o earthly_a tabernacle_n of_o we_o be_v tumble_v in_o the_o dust_n though_o we_o be_v mortify_v and_o subdue_a of_o sin_n yet_o there_o will_v be_v a_o bud_a and_o sprout_v out_o again_o 2._o there_o be_v many_o actual_a sin_n james_n 3._o 2._o in_o many_o thing_n we_o offend_v all_o and_o stand_n many_o time_n all_o act_n of_o respect_n be_v intermit_v then_o for_o commission_n sometime_o out_o of_o ignorance_n they_o do_v not_o see_v what_o be_v to_o be_v do_v though_o they_o have_v particular_a conflict_n he_o be_v overbear_v by_o the_o violence_n of_o temptation_n and_o his_o own_o corrupt_a lusts._n thus_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n of_o beg_v daily_a pardon_n if_o we_o consider_v the_o condition_n of_o the_o saint_n while_o they_o be_v here_o in_o the_o world_n who_o carry_v a_o sin_v nature_n about_o they_o a_o corrupt_a issue_n that_o will_v never_o be_v dry_v up_o while_o they_o be_v in_o the_o world_n and_o also_o they_o be_v guilty_a of_o many_o actual_a sin_n both_o of_o omission_n and_o commission_n second_o the_o necessity_n of_o it_o will_v appear_v from_o the_o way_n wherein_o god_n give_v a_o pardon_n which_o be_v upon_o the_o creature_n humble_a submission_n and_o seek_v of_o term_n of_o grace_n so_o that_o whatsoever_o right_o we_o have_v to_o remission_n in_o christ_n though_o we_o have_v a_o general_a right_n to_o remission_n and_o pardon_n of_o sin_n yet_o we_o must_v seek_v to_o apply_v that_o right_n and_o beg_v the_o use_n of_o
