or_o look_v to_o much_o after_o they_o and_o of_o rashness_n and_o presumption_n in_o lay_v too_o much_o weight_n upon_o they_o if_o they_o show_v d_o occur_v therefore_o the_o safe_a and_o sure_a course_n must_v be_v not_o to_o lean_v too_o much_o to_o sensible_a demonstration_n of_o providence_n but_o rather_o to_o reflect_v on_o god_n word_n both_o on_o the_o word_n of_o promise_n and_o precept_n and_o according_a to_o that_o rule_n to_o judge_v of_o our_o prayer_n and_o their_o success_n and_o thus_o though_o we_o can_v espy_v no_o ground_n of_o hope_n and_o encouragement_n from_o any_o dispensation_n of_o providence_n yet_o if_o we_o find_v our_o prayer_n run_v parallel_n with_o the_o promise_n and_o the_o qualification_n and_o condition_n thereto_o annex_v and_o that_o we_o have_v pray_v according_a to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n both_o as_o to_o the_o matter_n and_o manner_n of_o performance_n we_o need_v not_o doubt_v of_o their_o success_n whether_o we_o have_v get_v the_o particular_a we_o ask_v or_o not_o but_o here_o it_o may_v be_v inquire_v whether_o those_o mercy_n which_o the_o saint_n receive_v when_o they_o be_v on_o the_o decline_a hand_n and_o be_v negligent_a in_o their_o walk_n and_o cold_a and_o formal_a in_o their_o prayer_n be_v give_v in_o
