necessary_a to_o put_v the_o people_n in_o remembrance_n of_o their_o mortality_n of_o their_o great_a misery_n and_o frailty_n of_o their_o fatal_a end_n of_o the_o immortality_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o the_o general_a resurrection_n at_o the_o last_o day_n and_o of_o the_o joy_n felicity_n and_o beatitude_n of_o the_o life_n to_o come_v with_o the_o like_a godly_a instruction_n that_o they_o may_v the_o better_o prepare_v themselves_o to_o the_o same_o when_o god_n shall_v call_v they_o hence_o to_o himself_o and_o although_o of_o late_a some_o fantastical_a spirit_n have_v teach_v that_o the_o use_n of_o they_o be_v naught_o in_o that_o they_o stand_v in_o place_n of_o popish_a diriges_fw-la and_o i_o can_v tell_v what_o yet_o can_v i_o be_v easy_o draw_v to_o assent_v unto_o they_o for_o that_o i_o see_v they_o in_o that_o respect_n a_o great_a deal_n more_o curious_a than_o godly_a wise_a theod._n be_v it_o lawful_a think_v you_o for_o minister_n and_o preacher_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o receive_v stipend_n and_o wage_n for_o their_o preach_n amphil._n why_o not_o otherwise_o how_o shall_v they_o be_v able_a to_o keep_v themselves_o free_a from_o worldly_a occupation_n and_o travel_n of_o this_o life_n as_o they_o ought_v to_o apply_v their_o study_n for_o the_o discharge_n of_o their_o duty_n to_o maintain_v themselves_o their_o family_n and_o household_n or_o live_n and_o wage_n from_o the_o preacher_n and_o overthrow_v preach_v altogether_o the_o ordinary_a mean_a to_o salvation_n in_o christ._n this_o cause_v the_o apostle_n to_o enter_v disputation_n of_o this_o point_n where_o he_o proove_v by_o invincible_a argument_n that_o a_o preacher_n or_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n jesus_n may_v salua_fw-la conscientia_fw-la with_o a_o not_o of_o the_o milk_n of_o the_o flock_n by_o all_o which_o reason_n and_o argument_n it_o appear_v that_o he_o who_o preach_v the_o gospel_n ought_v to_o live_v of_o the_o gospel_n but_o as_o every_o pastor_n that_o have_v a_o peculiar_a stock_n assign_v he_o may_v with_o the_o testimony_n of_o a_o good_a conscience_n receive_v wage_n and_o maintenance_n of_o his_o flock_n for_o his_o pain_n take_v among_o they_o so_o may_v he_o not_o nor_o ought_v not_o to_o take_v wage_n or_o salary_n of_o any_o other_o flock_n adjoin_v if_o so_o be_v it_o that_o either_o upon_o request_n or_o
