servant_n above_o his_o lord_n contrary_a to_o the_o word_n of_o christ_n mat._n 10.24_o for_o according_a to_o this_o example_n when_o christ_n send_v forth_o his_o twelve_o apostle_n to_o preach_v he_o command_v they_o and_o in_o they_o all_o other_o that_o be_v right_a gospel_n minister_n say_v provide_v neither_o gold_n nor_o silver_n nor_o brass_n in_o your_o purse_n nor_o scrip_n for_o your_o journey_n neither_o two_o coat_n etc._n etc._n for_o the_o workman_n be_v worthy_a of_o his_o meat_n mat._n 10.9.10_o and_o in_o luk._n 10.7_o eat_v and_o drink_v such_o thing_n as_o they_o give_v but_o christ_n do_v not_o bid_v they_o if_o the_o people_n do_v not_o give_v that_o they_o shall_v take_v it_o by_o force_n of_o law_n as_o the_o practice_n of_o prelate_n and_o priest_n be_v whereby_o they_o like_o the_o son_n of_o eli_n make_v the_o offering_n to_o be_v abhor_v this_o be_v not_o christ_n but_o anti-christs_a way_n for_o maintenance_n of_o minister_n christ_n only_o bid_v the_o apostle_n that_o those_o who_o will_v not_o receive_v they_o to_o shake_v off_o the_o dust_n of_o their_o foot_n for_o a_o testimony_n against_o they_o but_o yet_o with_o this_o threaten_n that_o it_o shall_v be_v more_o tolerable_a for_o sodom_n and_o gomorrah_n in_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n than_o for_o those_o people_n that_o receive_v not_o god_n messenger_n nor_o allow_v they_o not_o maintenance_n out_o of_o their_o substance_n thus_o you_o see_v man_n be_v bind_v under_o pain_n of_o damnation_n to_o give_v christ_n minister_n sufficient_a maintenance_n for_o god_n have_v ordain_v that_o they_o which_o preach_v the_o gospel_n shall_v live_v of_o the_o gospel_n thou_o shall_v not_o muzzle_v the_o mouth_n of_o the_o ox_n that_o tread_v out_o the_o corn_n for_o say_v paul_n if_o we_o have_v sow_o unto_o you_o spiritual_a thing_n be_v it_o a_o great_a thing_n if_o we_o reap_v your_o carnal_a thing_n 1_o cor._n 9.9.11.14_o and_o yet_o this_o must_v not_o be_v exact_v by_o law_n or_o constraint_n but_o as_o a_o matter_n of_o bounty_n that_o every_o man_n as_o he_o purpose_v in_o his_o heart_n so_o say_v the_o apostle_n let_v he_o give_v not_o grudge_o or_o of_o necessity_n for_o god_n love_v a_o cheerful_a giver_n 2_o cor._n 9.7_o but_o this_o i_o say_v he_o that_o sow_v spare_o shall_v reap_v spare_o and_o he_o which_o sow_v bountiful_o shall_v reap_v bountiful_o god_n will_v prosper_v his_o endeavour_n so_o much_o the_o more_o if_o church_n may_v have_v leave_n from_o the_o supreme_a magistrate_n according_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n to_o elect_v and_o choose_v their_o own_o minister_n then_o as_o paul_n say_v
