goodness_n of_o god_n because_o it_o be_v a_o just_a punishment_n of_o the_o sin_n of_o all_o man_n in_o adam_n it_o may_v be_v this_o which_o have_v be_v say_v will_n not_o satisfy_v the_o mind_n of_o all_o yet_o if_o any_o will_v be_v curious_a to_o search_v further_o into_o this_o point_n let_v they_o know_v that_o there_o be_v a_o other_o matter_n which_o more_o concern_v they_o to_o look_v unto_o when_o a_o man_n house_n be_v on_o fire_n there_o be_v no_o time_n then_o to_o inquire_v how_o and_o which_o way_n and_o whence_o the_o fire_n come_v but_o our_o duty_n be_v with_o all_o speed_n and_o expedition_n to_o use_v all_o good_a mean_n to_o stay_v it_o and_o so_o consider_v that_o our_o whole_a nature_n be_v real_o infect_v and_o poison_v with_o the_o loathsome_a contagion_n of_o original_a sin_n which_o be_v a_o weight_n sufficient_a to_o press_v down_o the_o soul_n to_o the_o gulf_n of_o hell_n it_o stand_v we_o in_o hand_n a_o thousand_o fold_n more_o to_o use_v the_o mean_n whereby_o it_o may_v be_v take_v away_o then_o to_o dispute_v how_o it_o come_v some_o may_v allege_v against_o the_o propagation_n of_o sin_n that_o holy_a parent_n beget_v holy_a child_n they_o in_o freedom_n that_o be_v in_o bondage_n now_o a_o man_n can_v pour_v oil_n into_o a_o wound_n before_o there_o be_v a_o wound_n or_o before_o it_o be_v open_v and_o we_o feel_v the_o smart_n of_o it_o and_o how_o can_v we_o be_v set_v at_o liberty_n by_o christ_n except_o we_o feel_v ourselves_o to_o be_v in_o bondage_n under_o hell_n death_n and_o damnation_n when_o the_o disciple_n of_o christ_n be_v upon_o the_o sea_n in_o a_o great_a tempest_n they_o cry_v master_n save_v we_o we_o perish_v 8.25_o so_o no_o man_n can_v hearty_o say_v i_o believe_v jesus_n christ_n to_o be_v my_o saviour_n before_o he_o feel_v that_o in_o himself_o he_o be_v utter_o lose_v and_o cast_v away_o without_o his_o help_n but_o after_o that_o we_o perceive_v ourselves_o to_o be_v in_o danger_n and_o to_o be_v overwhelm_v in_o the_o sea_n of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n than_o we_o cry_v out_o with_o the_o disciple_n lord_n jesus_n save_v we_o we_o perish_v many_o protestant_n in_o these_o day_n hold_v christ_n to_o be_v their_o saviour_n but_o it_o be_v only_o formable_o from_o the_o tooth_n outward_a and_o no_o further_o for_o they_o be_v never_o touch_v with_o the_o sense_n of_o their_o spiritual_a misery_n that_o they_o may_v say_v with_o daniel_n shame_n and_o confusion_n belong_v unto_o we_o and_o with_o the_o publican_n i_o be_o a_o sinner_n lord_n be_v merciful_a to_o i_o and_o therefore_o the_o conclusion_n be_v this_o that_o if_o we_o will_v have_v christ_n to_o be_v our_o saviour_n we_o must_v first_o believe_v that_o in_o ourselves_o we_o be_v utter_o lose_v and_o so_o own_o sense_n and_o feeling_n be_v lose_v in_o themselves_o second_o if_o christ_n be_v a_o saviour_n than_o we_o must_v acknowledge_v he_o to_o be_v so_o but_o how_o shall_v we_o do_v this_o i_o answer_v thus_o a_o man_n be_v take_v to_o be_v a_o skilful_a physician_n by_o this_o that_o many_o patient_n come_v unto_o he_o and_o seek_v for_o help_v at_o his_o hand_n and_o so_o shall_v it_o be_v with_o christ._n but_o alas_o the_o case_n be_v otherwise_o every_o man_n can_v talk_v of_o christ_n but_o few_o acknowledge_v he_o to_o be_v a_o saviour_n by_o seek_v to_o he_o for_o their_o salvation_n because_o they_o judge_v themselves_o righteous_a and_o feel_v not_o themselves_o to_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o the_o help_n of_o christ._n nay_o which_o be_v more_o if_o a_o man_n be_v know_v that_o can_v cure_v strange_a disease_n man_n will_v seek_v to_o he_o by_o sea_n and_o land_n and_o sell_v both_o good_n and_o land_n to_o get_v help_n at_o his_o hand_n even_o so_o if_o man_n be_v persuade_v that_o christ_n be_v a_o perfect_a saviour_n and_o that_o they_o be_v sick_a and_o utter_o unable_a to_o be_v save_v without_o he_o they_o will_v never_o rest_v nor_o be_v in_o quiet_a but_o seek_v unto_o he_o for_o his_o help_n and_o cry_v with_o david_n o_o lord_n say_v unto_o my_o soul_n that_o thou_o be_v my_o salvation_n 3_o the_o woman_n that_o be_v disease_v with_o a_o issue_n of_o blood_n come_v behind_o our_o saviour_n christ_n and_o when_o she_o have_v but_o touch_v he_o 9.20_o she_o be_v heal_v in_o the_o same_o manner_n if_o we_o shall_v seek_v to_o come_v to_o christ_n and_o do_v but_o touch_v his_o precious_a body_n and_o blood_n by_o the_o hand_n of_o faith_n the_o issue_n &_o the_o bleed_a wound_n of_o our_o soul_n shall_v be_v dry_v up_o when_o a_o yet_o the_o blindness_n and_o security_n of_o man_n be_v such_o that_o none_o almost_o walk_v in_o this_o way_n nor_o care_v to_o come_v into_o this_o mansion_n place_n but_o in_o stead_n of_o this_o broad_a way_n that_o lead_v to_o destruction_n and_o never_o so_o much_o as_o once_o make_v inquiry_n for_o a_o rest_a place_n in_o heaven_n but_o when_o the_o hour_n of_o death_n come_v than_o they_o call_v for_o the_o guide_n whereas_o all_o their_o life_n before_o they_o have_v run_v out_o of_o the_o way_n many_o thousand_o mile_n but_o then_o alas_o it_o be_v too_o late_o unless_o it_o be_v and_o die_v christ_n jesus_n have_v buy_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n for_o we_o the_o most_o bless_a purchase_n that_o ever_o be_v and_o have_v pay_v the_o dear_a price_n for_o it_o that_o ever_o be_v pay_v even_o his_o own_o precious_a blood_n and_o in_o this_o city_n he_o have_v prepare_v for_o we_o a_o dwell_a place_n and_o make_v we_o free-denizen_n of_o it_o therefore_o all_o our_o joy_n and_o all_o our_o affair_n ought_v to_o be_v there_o it_o will_v be_v say_v how_o shall_v a_o man_n upon_o earth_n have_v his_o conversation_n in_o heaven_n ans._n we_o must_v converse_v in_o heaven_n
