because_o not_o only_a corruption_n oppose_v the_o work_n of_o faith_n but_o even_o a_o man_n gift_n and_o self_n and_o sufficiency_n which_o god_n give_v he_o that_o now_o and_o then_o seem_v to_o be_v the_o hindrance_n of_o faith_n it_o be_v through_o our_o corruption_n indeed_o in_o other_o thing_n it_o be_v not_o so_o we_o will_v fain_o get_v sorrow_n and_o therefore_o we_o labour_v for_o it_o and_o we_o will_v have_v love_n and_o therefore_o we_o labour_v for_o it_o but_o all_o this_o be_v out_o of_o our_o own_o power_n or_o ability_n we_o will_v keep_v we_o in_o ourselves_o but_o faith_n will_v have_v we_o go_v out_o to_o christ_n and_o our_o part_n will_v work_v this_o in_o we_o but_o faith_n say_v we_o must_v go_v to_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n or_o else_o we_o be_v not_o able_a to_o do_v that_o which_o he_o command_v so_o now_o you_o see_v that_o a_o man_n part_n and_o ability_n be_v sometime_o great_a hindrance_n and_o bar_n to_o keep_v a_o man_n from_o believe_v and_o this_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o if_o god_n open_v a_o man_n eye_n and_o discover_v a_o man_n corruption_n by_o nature_n we_o fall_v to_o do_v to_o repent_v formal_o and_o all_o this_o work_v upon_o the_o soul_n in_o believe_v the_o lord_n do_v not_o concur_v in_o a_o ordinary_a common_a kind_n of_o providence_n as_o meet_v with_o some_o power_n and_o ability_n in_o the_o soul_n to_o help_v forward_o the_o work_n as_o god_n move_v and_o we_o move_v and_o we_o be_v co-worker_n with_o god_n in_o several_a passage_n and_o so_o it_o be_v in_o all_o the_o work_n of_o sanctification_n which_o come_v after_o faith_n there_o be_v still_o something_o that_o concur_v with_o god_n in_o the_o work_n but_o now_o it_o be_v a_o true_a miracle_n he_o find_v nothing_o in_o take_v off_o these_o hindrance_n if_o it_o be_v possible_a as_o in_o truth_n it_o be_v possible_a and_o not_o only_o to_o remove_v these_o hindrance_n but_o all_o other_o of_o this_o kind_n quality_n and_o condition_n if_o you_o will_v attend_v to_o the_o mean_n that_o shall_v be_v propound_v it_o be_v possible_a to_o cure_v they_o and_o the_o cure_n be_v these_o whereby_o the_o soul_n may_v be_v the_o sluice_n of_o the_o promise_n and_o second_o set_v open_v the_o flood_n and_o stream_n of_o corruption_n that_o they_o may_v run_v violent_o upon_o we_o to_o the_o overwhelm_a of_o we_o in_o conclusion_n and_o our_o distemper_n will_v take_v advantage_n against_o we_o by_o reason_n of_o our_o daily_a consideration_n and_o attendance_n thereupon_o meditation_n in_o this_o case_n i_o compare_v to_o distillation_n when_o a_o woman_n distil_v a_o kind_n of_o herb_n or_o flower_n and_o when_o the_o alchemist_n distil_v some_o kind_n of_o metal_n there_o be_v a_o admirable_a water_n draw_v out_o by_o distillation_n and_o a_o excellent_a oil_n by_o alchemy_n and_o this_o water_n and_o oil_n be_v in_o the_o creature_n before_o but_o they_o be_v not_o see_v to_o be_v there_o before_o but_o they_o be_v of_o wonderful_a force_n and_o strength_n when_o they_o be_v distil_v so_o it_o be_v with_o the_o daily_o pore_v settle_v and_o attend_v upon_o a_o man_n distemper_n a_o man_n thereby_o distil_v a_o distemper_n and_o a_o discouragement_n and_o a_o infirmity_n and_o draw_v out_o the_o very_a life_n and_o sap_n and_o spirit_n of_o it_o and_o draw_v out_o the_o very_a quintessence_n of_o a_o corruption_n and_o make_v it_o dangerous_a nay_o he_o make_v it_o deadly_a many_o time_n so_o that_o after_o a_o man_n daily_a pore_v upon_o and_o attend_v whole_o to_o his_o sin_n he_o multiply_v inconvenience_n more_o than_o else_o will_v be_v so_o that_o the_o soul_n which_o before_o be_v trouble_v come_v now_o to_o be_v overwhelm_v with_o the_o daily_o pore_v and_o
