reason_v not_o only_o admit_v they_o not_o but_o also_o loathe_v and_o scorn_v they_o yea_o and_o if_o you_o press_v over_o far_o upon_o she_o at_o length_n like_o a_o bedlam_n she_o trample_v all_o the_o whole_a heavenly_a wisdom_n under_o her_o foot_n except_o she_o be_v make_v spiritual_a by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n yea_o and_o even_o then_o also_o she_o cease_v not_o too_o wrestle_v against_o the_o know_a wisdom_n so_o farforth_o as_o she_o be_v not_o change_v and_o therefore_o i_o trow_v you_o see_v the_o thing_n too_o be_v true_a which_o i_o speak_v quest_n but_o you_o divine_v also_o be_v you_o never_o vine_n so_o spiritual_a agree_v not_o thorough_o among_o yourselves_o in_o all_o thing_n an._n that_o come_v not_o to_o pass_v through_o fault_n of_o the_o scripture_n wherein_o the_o point_n of_o true_a religion_n be_v set_v forth_o plain_o and_o manifest_o enough_o but_o we_o may_v blame_v the_o selfsame_a reason_n for_o it_o which_o be_v both_o blind_a and_o also_o stubborn_a neither_o say_v i_o that_o we_o be_v regenerate_v thorough_o but_o only_o in_o part_n for_o be_v we_o regenerate_v thurrowlye_o we_o shall_v all_o of_o we_o agree_v full_o too_o the_o truth_n in_o all_o point_v and_o therefore_o i_o deny_v not_o but_o there_o remain_v the_o remnant_n of_o that_o ignorant_a and_o stubborn_a nature_n but_o they_o be_v do_v away_o by_o little_a and_o little_a quest_n well_o then_o let_v we_o grant_v that_o what_o soever_o pure_a knowledge_n or_o right_a judgement_n or_o just_a desire_n there_o be_v in_o we_o the_o same_o proceed_v of_o the_o mere_a grace_n of_o the_o heavenly_a father_n in_o his_o son_n but_o wilt_v thou_o not_o grant_v that_o this_o righteousness_n comparison_n which_o stick_v in_o we_o be_v righteousness_n &_o therefore_o also_o exceptable_a too_o god_n ans_fw-fr i_o grant_v it_o be_v righteousness_n for_o 17._o a_o good_a tree_n bring_v forth_o good_a fruit_n howbeit_o but_o by_o way_n of_o comparison_n be_v absolute_o perfect_a and_o full_a in_o all_o point_n quest_n nay_o rather_o by_o what_o right_n shall_v nature_n god_n exact_v any_o thing_n at_o man_n hand_n who_o he_o know_v to_o be_v unable_a to_o make_v payment_n even_o by_o nature_n whereof_o he_o himself_o be_v the_o author_n ans_fw-fr that_o we_o be_v not_o able_a to_o make_v payment_n it_o be_v not_o of_o nature_n which_o both_o will_v and_o can_v yield_v unto_o her_o creator_n after_o who_o image_n she_o be_v make_v the_o thing_n that_o both_o he_o require_v and_o she_o owe_v in_o asmuch_o as_o she_o be_v create_v to_o the_o same_o purpose_n but_o it_o spring_v of_o the_o will_v corruption_n of_o the_o same_o nature_n which_o bring_v too_o pass_v that_o no_o man_n either_o will_v or_o ●an_v acknowledge_v that_o debt_n and_o much_o less_o pay_v it_o nay_o rather_o all_o of_o we_o do_v nothing_o else_o but_o increase_v that_o debt_n but_o too_o speak_v even_o after_o the_o manner_n of_o man_n do_v any_o man_n cease_v to_o be_v a_o debtor_n which_o through_o his_o own_o fault_n be_v not_o able_a too_o etc_n pay_v furthermore_o where_o the_o creator_n may_v of_o very_o good_a right_n and_o duty_n require_v at_o our_o hand_n that_o which_o h●●_n do_v yea_o and_o peradventure_o somewhat_o more_o too_o if_o he_o take_v the_o same_o in_o so_o good_a worth_n at_o our_o hand_n that_o believe_v in_o his_o son_n christ_n who_o he_o have_v give_v unto_o we_o most_o liberal_o and_o free_o that_o of_o his_o like_a liberality_n he_o give_v we_o faith_n also_o whereby_o to_o take_v the_o gift_n y_fw-fr he_o offer_v we_o who_o will_v not_o rather_o honour_v the_o father_n so_o infinite_a goodness_n than_o stand_v in_o contention_n with_o he_o quest_n to_o god_n therefore_o the_o sovereign_n man._n good_a be_v glory_n &_o praise_v everlasting_a nevertheless_o give_v i_o leave_v to_o ask_v you_o thus_o much_o at_o leastwise_o this_o righteousness_n that_o cleave_v unto_o we_o so_o farforth_o as_o it_o have_v regard_n of_o righteousness_n must_v needs_o please_v god_n who_o delight_v in_o righteousness_n ans_fw-fr i_o perceive_v the_o wiliness_n not_o of_o you_o as_o i_o think_v but_o of_o satan_n for_o inasmuch_o as_o he_o can_v bereave_v christ_n quite_o and_o clean_o of_o the_o glory_n of_o our_o salvation_n therefore_o he_o go_v about_o at_o leastwyse_a to_o nip_n of_o some_o piece_n of_o it_o which_o thing_n will_v sure_o come_v to_o pass_v if_o he_o can_v make_v man_n believe_v that_o thing_n which_o the_o filthy_a sophister_n bear_v folk_n in_o hand_n name_o that_o christ_n righteousness_n do_v but_o simp_o that_o which_o be_v want_v in_o our_o righteousness_n thus_o therefore_o stand_v the_o case_n god_n bear_v such_o a_o love_n towards_o righteousness_n that_o whatsoever_o have_v any_o spark_n of_o righteousness_n and_o cleanness_n at_o all_o he_o allow_v it_o after_o a_o sort_n but_o that_o be_v of_o his_o own_o infinite_a 10_o goodness_n and_o not_o for_o any_o desert_n of_o such_o manner_n of_o righteousness_n which_o be_v but_o shadowish_a so_o allow_v he_o the_o repentance_n of_o the_o ninivite_n and_o of_o achab_n although_o it_o be_v no_o true_a repentance_n but_o a_o certain_a shrink_n of_o themselves_o under_o the_o mighty_a hand_n of_o god_n for_o he_o be_v so_o exceed_v good_a that_o he_o do_v good_a even_o too_o they_o that_o be_v most_o unworthy_a and_o much_o more_o too_o such_o as_o be_v by_o any_o mean_v touch_v with_o the_o feeling_n of_o his_o majesty_n then_o delight_v he_o much_o more_o in_o the_o work_v of_o they_o that_o be_v regenerate_v although_o they_o be_v unperfect_a but_o first_o i_o say_v that_o these_o work_v of_o the_o regenerate_v do_v please_v he_o not_o for_o any_o worthiness_n of_o they_o but_o of_o the_o mere_a grace_n of_o the_o father_n who_o pardon_v that_o which_o be_v miss_v of_o righteousness_n and_o accepth_n that_o which_o proceed_v of_o his_o own_o spirit_n again_o i_o deny_v that_o our_o justification_n and_o so_o consequent_o that_o life_n everlasting_a shall_v be_v give_v too_o these_o work_n after_o one_o manner_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n as_o the_o cause_n of_o they_o please_v they_o god_n never_o so_o much_o through_o his_o mere_a grace_n 2_o for_o this_o be_v a_o sure_a ground_n that_o the_o righteous_a shall_v live_v by_o faith_n and_o everlasting_a life_n be_v the_o
