to_o lift_v up_o man_n out_o of_o the_o chain_n of_o sin_n and_o wrath_n into_o a_o state_n of_o grace_n and_o life_n eternal_a god_n as_o creator_n give_v man_n a_o law_n of_o perfect_a obedience_n suit_v to_o his_o primitive_a nature_n and_o as_o it_o be_v interweave_v with_o the_o principle_n of_o it_o god_n as_o redeemer_n give_v we_o a_o law_n of_o grace_n in_o which_o there_o be_v as_o much_o abatement_n and_o condescension_n to_o our_o fall_a estate_n as_o can_v comport_v with_o his_o own_o holiness_n and_o majesty_n in_o the_o former_a god_n stand_v upon_o the_o high_a term_n of_o perfect_a sinless_a obedience_n in_o the_o latter_a he_o come_v down_o to_o the_o low_a term_n imaginable_a he_o will_v justify_v and_o save_v every_o one_o who_o by_o true_a faith_n yield_v and_o resign_v himself_o up_o to_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o gospel_n where_o there_o be_v distinct_a law_n there_o must_v be_v distinct_a righteousness_n to_o answer_v they_o that_o which_o come_v up_o to_o the_o condescend_v term_n of_o the_o gospel_n fall_v much_o short_a of_o the_o high_a term_n of_o the_o law_n that_o which_o satisfy_v the_o law_n be_v a_o thing_n of_o incomparable_o great_a excellency_n than_o that_o which_o answer_v to_o the_o term_n of_o the_o gospel_n there_o be_v two_o distinct_a charge_n or_o accusation_n to_o be_v suppose_v the_o one_o that_o we_o be_v sinner_n such_o as_o have_v break_v the_o law_n the_o other_o that_o we_o be_v unbeliever_n such_o as_o have_v reject_v the_o gospel_n here_o therefore_o must_v be_v distinct_a plea_n to_o the_o first_o the_o plea_n be_v christ_n satisfaction_n to_o discharge_v we_o from_o the_o law_n to_o the_o second_o the_o plea_n be_v faith_n which_o be_v the_o condition_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o the_o charge_n of_o final_a unbelief_n it_o be_v no_o plea_n to_o say_v that_o christ_n have_v satisfy_v to_o the_o charge_n of_o be_v a_o sinner_n the_o plea_n do_v not_o consist_v in_o faith_n itself_o but_o in_o its_o object_n viz._n christ_n satisfaction_n the_o righteousness_n themselves_o be_v of_o different_a nature_n as_o to_o the_o law_n our_o righteousness_n be_v without_o we_o in_o the_o glorious_a satisfaction_n of_o christ_n make_v we_o by_o a_o gracious_a imputation_n as_o to_o the_o gospel_n our_o righteousness_n be_v within_o we_o in_o that_o faith_n which_o comply_v with_o the_o evangelical_n term_n as_o to_o the_o law_n our_o righteousness_n be_v not_o the_o idem_fw-la but_o a_o satisfaction_n make_v for_o the_o breach_n of_o it_o as_o to_o the_o gospel_n our_o faith_n be_v the_o very_a idem_fw-la which_o the_o gospel_n condition_n call_v for_o it_o be_v of_o great_a concern_v in_o justification_n to_o place_v these_o two_o righteousness_n in_o their_o proper_a orb_n if_o either_o of_o they_o be_v carry_v out_o of_o their_o own_o sphere_n religion_n be_v subvert_v as_o to_o the_o law_n christ_n satisfaction_n be_v our_o only_a righteousness_n it_o be_v true_a
