the_o say_a book_n and_o the_o service_n administration_n of_o sacrament_n rite_n &_o ceremony_n contain_v or_o appoint_v in_o or_o by_o the_o say_a book_n shall_v be_v void_a and_o of_o none_o effect_n from_o &_o after_o the_o feast_n of_o the_o nativity_n of_o s._n john_n baptist_n next_o come_v and_o that_o the_o say_a book_n
within_o vi_o week_n next_o after_o his_o conviction_n that_o then_o every_o person_n so_o convict_v and_o so_o not_o pay_v the_o same_o shall_v for_o the_o same_o first_o offence_n instead_o of_o and_o all_o and_o every_o other_o person_n and_o person_n which_o shall_v be_v promote_v or_o prefer_v to_o any_o degree_n of_o learning_n in_o any_o university_n within_o this_o your_o realm_n or_o dominion_n before_o he_o shall_v receive_v or_o take_v any_o such_o order_n or_o be_v prefer_v to_o any_o such_o degree_n of_o learning_n shall_v make_v take_v and_o receive_v the_o say_a oath_n by_o or_o offence_n provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o this_o act_n or_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v shall_v not_o in_o any_o wise_n extend_v to_o repeal_v any_o clause_n matter_n or_o sentence_n contain_v or_o specify_v in_o the_o say_a act_n of_o repeal_v make_v in_o the_o say_v first_o and_o second_o year_n of_o the_o reign_v of_o the_o say_v late_a king_n philippe_n and_o queen_n marie_n as_o do_v in_o any_o wise_a touch_n or_o concern_v any_o matter_n or_o cause_n of_o praemunire_n or_o that_o do_v make_v or_o ordain_v any_o matter_n or_o cause_n to_o be_v within_o the_o case_n of_o praemunire_n but_o that_o the_o same_o for_o so_o much_o only_o as_o touch_v or_o concern_v any_o case_n or_o matter_n of_o praemunire_n shall_v or_o be_v prejudicial_a to_o any_o person_n or_o person_n for_o any_o offence_n or_o offence_n commit_v or_o do_v or_o hereafter_o to_o be_v commit_v or_o do_v contrary_a to_o the_o tenor_n and_o effect_n of_o any_o act_n or_o statute_n now_o revive_v by_o this_o act_n before_o the_o end_n of_o xxx_o day_n next_o after_o the_o end_n of_o the_o session_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n any_o present_a parliament_n that_o no_o person_n or_o person_n use_v or_o occupy_v the_o feat_n and_o mystery_n of_o shoemaker_n shall_v from_o henceforth_o work_v or_o make_v any_o boot_n or_o shoe_n of_o neat_n leather_n that_o shall_v be_v mingle_a make_v or_o wrought_v with_o any_o other_o leather_n but_o only_o neat_n leather_n of_o itself_o unless_o it_o be_v in_o the_o hem_n or_o line_n of_o boot_n shoe_n or_o slipper_n and_o that_o they_o shall_v put_v in_o all_o and_o every_o boot_n shoe_n or_o slipper_n make_v of_o neat_n leather_n innersole_n make_v of_o womb_n which_o shall_v be_v well_o &_o true_o tan_v and_o curry_v and_o also_o all_o such_o other_o boot_n shoe_n and_o slipper_n as_o shall_v be_v make_v of_o dry_a neat_n leather_n or_o calf_n leather_n not_o to_o be_v further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o no_o manner_n of_o person_n or_o person_n whatsoever_o shall_v after_o the_o first_o day_n of_o may_n next_o come_v buy_v bargain_n bespeke_v or_o take_v promise_n of_o bargain_n of_o or_o for_o any_o raw_a hide_n or_o calf_n skin_n but_o of_o or_o for_o such_o and_o the_o same_o as_o shall_v be_v present_a in_o fair_a or_o grant_v shall_v name_v and_o appoint_v yearly_o before_o the_o last_o day_n of_o august_n in_o either_o of_o the_o say_v two_o year_n sufficient_a &_o able_a person_n for_o the_o collection_n of_o the_o say_v fifteen_o &_o ten_o in_o every_o of_o the_o say_a shire_n city_n borrow_n and_o town_n the_o say_a person_n the_o have_v land_n tenement_n and_o other_o hereditamente_n in_o his_o or_o their_o own_o right_n of_o a_o estate_n of_o inheritance_n of_o the_o yearly_a value_n of_o ten_o pound_n or_o in_o good_n worth_n a_o hundred_o pound_n at_o the_o least_o and_o also_o such_o person_n or_o person_n so_o by_o they_o to_o be_v name_v and_o appoint_v for_o the_o collection_n of_o either_o of_o the_o say_v fifteen_o and_o ten_o shall_v be_v by_o they_o several_o appoint_v and_o allot_v into_o hundred_o rape_n wapentake_n city_n borough_n and_o town_n and_o also_o the_o say_a person_n so_o name_v and_o appoint_v for_o the_o collection_n of_o the_o same_o fifteen_o and_o ten_o shall_v be_v charge_v and_o chargeable_a upon_o his_o or_o their_o account_n or_o account_n in_o the_o exchequer_n to_o be_v make_v with_o all_o such_o sum_n or_o sum_n of_o money_n as_o the_o hundred_o rape_n wapentake_n city_n borough_n and_o town_n where_o he_o or_o they_o shall_v so_o happen_v to_o be_v appoint_v amount_v unto_o and_o of_o no_o more_o sum_n or_o sum_n and_o upon_o the_o payment_n of_o such_o sum_n of_o money_n as_o he_o or_o they_o shall_v be_v charge_v with_o shall_v be_v discharge_v and_o have_v he_o and_o their_o quietus_n est_fw-la the_o non_fw-la account_v or_o none_o payment_n of_o any_o other_o his_o fellow_n or_o the_o insufficiency_n of_o they_o or_o any_o of_o they_o notwithstanding_o and_o the_o name_n and_o surname_n of_o every_o of_o the_o say_a collector_n for_o the_o say_v fifteen_o and_o ten_o during_o either_o of_o the_o say_v two_o year_n together_o with_o the_o place_n allot_v to_o their_o collection_n and_o charge_n the_o say_a knight_n citezin_n and_o burgess_n for_o the_o shire_n city_n and_o borough_n whereunto_o they_o be_v elect_v name_v and_o return_v shall_v certify_v before_o the_o queen_n in_o her_o chancery_n before_o the_o xiii_o day_n of_o october_n in_o every_o of_o the_o same_o two_o year_n accord_v to_o the_o tenor_n of_o this_o act_n and_o if_o default_n of_o any_o such_o certify_a be_v have_v or_o make_v in_o form_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a than_o the_o lord_n chancellor_n of_o england_n or_o keeper_n of_o the_o great_a seal_n for_o the_o time_n be_v shall_v immediate_o after_o name_n and_o appoint_v collector_n for_o the_o collection_n of_o either_o of_o the_o say_v fifteen_o &_o ten_o in_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o the_o say_a
place_n where_o he_o shall_v be_v commissioner_n and_o that_o if_o any_o person_n chargeable_a to_o this_o act_n at_o the_o time_n of_o the_o same_o assess_n happen_v to_o be_v out_o of_o this_o realm_n and_o out_o of_o wales_n or_o far_o form_v the_o place_n where_o he_o shall_v be_v know_v than_o he_o to_o be_v set_v where_o he_o be_v last_o abide_n in_o this_o realm_n or_o within_o wales_n and_o best_a know_v and_o after_o the_o substance_n and_o value_n and_o other_o profit_n of_o every_o person_n know_v by_o the_o examination_n certificate_n and_o other_o manner_n of_o wise_a as_o be_v aforesaid_a the_o say_a commissioner_n or_o as_o many_o of_o they_o as_o shall_v be_v appoint_v by_o the_o queen_n majesty_n commission_n shall_v after_o the_o rate_n aforesaid_a set_v and_o tax_v every_o person_n accord_v to_o the_o rate_n of_o the_o substance_n and_o value_n of_o his_o land_n good_n and_o other_o profit_n whereby_o the_o great_a and_o most_o best_a sum_n accord_v to_o his_o most_o substance_n by_o reason_n of_o this_o act_n may_v or_o may_v be_v set_v or_o tax_v provide_v always_o that_o every_o such_o person_n which_o shall_v be_v set_v or_o tax_v for_o payment_n of_o and_o to_o this_o subsidy_n for_o and_o after_o the_o yearly_a value_n of_o his_o land_n tenement_n and_o other_o real_a possession_n or_o profit_n at_o any_o of_o the_o say_a taxation_n shall_v not_o be_v set_v and_o tax_v for_o his_o good_n and_o cattle_n or_o other_o movable_a substance_n at_o the_o same_o taxation_n and_o that_o he_o that_o shall_v be_v charge_v or_o tax_v for_o the_o same_o subsidy_n for_o his_o good_n cattle_n and_o other_o movable_n at_o any_o if_o the_o say_a taxation_n shall_v not_o be_v charge_v tax_v or_o chargeable_a for_o his_o land_n or_o other_o real_a possession_n and_o profit_n abovesaid_a at_o the_o same_o taxation_n nor_o that_o any_o person_n be_v double_o charge_v for_o the_o say_a subsidy_n neither_o set_v or_o tax_v at_o several_a place_n by_o reason_n of_o this_o act_n any_o thing_n contain_v in_o this_o present_a act_n notwithstanding_o and_o that_o it_o be_v ordain_v by_o the_o say_a authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n that_o no_o person_n have_v two_o mansion_n or_o two_o place_n to_o resort_v unto_o or_o call_v himself_o household_n servant_n or_o wayght_a servant_n to_o the_o queen_n majesty_n or_o other_o lord_n or_o lay_v master_n or_o mistress_n be_v excuse_v upon_o his_o say_n from_o the_o tax_n of_o the_o say_a subsidy_n in_o neither_o of_o the_o place_n where_o he_o may_v be_v set_v unless_o he_o bring_v a_o certificate_n in_o write_v from_o the_o commissioner_n where_o that_o he_o be_v so_o set_v in_o deed_n at_o one_o place_n and_o if_o any_o person_n that_o ought_v to_o be_v set_v by_o reason_n of_o his_o remove_a or_o resort_v to_o two_o place_n or_o by_o reason_n of_o his_o say_n that_o he_o else_o where_o be_v tax_v or_o by_o reason_n of_o any_o privilege_n by_o his_o dwell_v or_o abide_n in_o any_o place_n not_o be_v forprise_v in_o this_o act_n or_o otherwise_o by_o his_o covin_n or_o craft_n happen_v to_o escape_v from_o the_o say_a taxation_n and_o be_v not_o set_v and_o that_o prove_v by_o presentment_n examination_n or_o information_n before_o the_o say_a commissioner_n or_o as_o many_o of_o they_o as_o shall_v be_v by_o the_o same_o commission_n appoint_v or_o by_o the_o baron_n of_o the_o queen_n majesty_n exchequer_n or_o two_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o county_n where_o such_o person_n dwell_v than_o every_o such_o person_n that_o by_o such_o mean_n or_o otherwise_o willing_o by_o covin_n shall_v happen_v to_o escape_v from_o the_o say_a taxation_n or_o payment_n aforesaid_a and_o not_o to_o be_v rate_v tax_v and_o set_v shall_v be_v charge_v upon_o the_o knowledge_n and_o proof_n thereof_o with_o and_o at_o the_o double_a value_n that_o he_o shall_v or_o ought_v to_o have_v be_v set_v at_o afore_o accord_v to_o his_o bahaviour_n the_o same_o double_a value_n to_o be_v levy_v gather_v and_o pay_v of_o his_o good_n and_o cattle_n land_n and_o tenement_n towards_o the_o say_a subsidy_n and_o further_o to_o be_v punish_v accord_v to_o the_o discretion_n of_o the_o baron_n justice_n and_o commissioner_n before_o who_o he_o shall_v be_v convict_v for_o his_o offence_n and_o deceit_n in_o that_o behalf_n and_o further_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o say_v commissioner_n or_o every_o commission_n shall_v accord_v to_o their_o division_n and_o after_o they_o be_v divide_v have_v full_a power_n and_o authority_n by_o this_o act_n to_o set_v tax_v and_o sesse_z every_o other_o commissioner_n join_v with_o they_o in_o every_o such_o commission_n and_o division_n and_o shall_v also_o assess_v every_o assessour_n within_o their_o division_n for_o his_o and_o their_o good_n land_n and_o other_o the_o premise_n as_o be_v abouseayde_v by_o the_o which_o say_v commission_n the_o say_a commissioner_n shall_v indifferent_o set_v tax_v and_o assess_v themselves_o and_o the_o say_a assessor_n and_o that_o aswell_o the_o sum_n upon_o every_o of_o the_o say_a commissioner_n and_o assessor_n so_o sess_z rate_v and_o tax_v as_o the_o sum_n make_v and_o present_v by_o the_o presenter_n swear_v as_o be_v abovesaid_a shall_v be_v write_v certify_v set_v and_o estreat_v and_o the_o estreate_v thereof_o to_o be_v make_v with_o other_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o that_o party_n within_o the_o limit_n of_o the_o same_o commission_n and_o division_n so_o to_o be_v gather_v and_o levy_v in_o like_a manner_n as_o it_o ought_v or_o shall_v have_v be_v if_o the_o say_a commissioner_n have_v not_o be_v in_o the_o say_a commission_n and_o that_o all_o person_n of_o the_o estate_n of_o a_o baron_n or_o baron_n and_o every_o estate_n above_o shall_v be_v charge_v with_o their_o free_a hold_n and_o value_n as_o be_v abovesaid_a by_o the_o chancellor_n or_o keeper_n of_o the_o great_a seal_n treasurer_n of_o england_n lord_n precedent_n of_o the_o queen_n majesty_n privy_a counsel_n &_o lord_n privy_a seal_n for_o the_o time_n be_v or_o other_o person_n by_o the_o queen_n majesty_n authority_n to_o be_v limit_v &_o they_o to_o be_v charge_v for_o the_o say_v several_a payment_n of_o the_o say_a subsidy_n after_o the_o form_n of_o the_o say_v grant_v accord_v to_o the_o taxation_n aforesaid_a and_o the_o sum_n upon_o they_o set_v with_o the_o name_n of_o the_o colloctour_n appoint_v for_o the_o gather_n &_o pay_v of_o the_o same_o to_o be_v estreat_v deliver_v and_o certify_v at_o day_n and_o place_n above_o specify_v by_o the_o lord_n chancellor_n or_o keeper_n of_o the_o great_a seal_n treasurer_n lord_n precedent_n of_o the_o counsel_n &_o lord_n privy_a seal_n for_o the_o time_n be_v or_o such_o other_o person_n as_o shall_v be_v limit_v by_o the_o queen_n majesty_n and_o after_o the_o tax_n and_o assess_v of_o the_o say_a sum_n upon_o and_o the_o say_v assess_v and_o certificate_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a make_v the_o say_a commissioner_n or_o as_o many_o of_o they_o as_o shall_v be_v thereunto_o appoint_v by_o the_o queen_n majesty_n commission_n shall_v with_o all_o speed_n and_o without_o delay_n by_o the_o writing_n estreat_v of_o the_o say_v tax_v thereof_o under_o the_o seal_n and_o sign_n manuel_n of_o the_o say_a commissioner_n or_o as_o may_v of_o they_o as_o shall_v be_v appoint_v at_o the_o jest_n to_o be_v make_v shall_v be_v deliver_v unto_o sufficient_a and_o substantial_a inhabitant_n constable_n subconstable_n bailiff_n and_o other_o officer_n joint_o of_o hundred_o town_n parish_n and_o other_o place_n aforesaid_a within_o their_o limit_n or_o to_o other_o sufficient_a person_n inhabitant_n of_o the_o same_o only_a by_o the_o discretion_n of_o the_o say_a commissioner_n and_o as_o the_o place_n and_o party_n shall_v require_v aswell_o the_o particular_a name_n &_o surname_n as_o the_o remembrance_n of_o all_o sum_n of_o money_n tax_v and_o set_v of_o and_o upon_o every_o person_n aswell_o man_n as_o woman_n chargeable_a to_o this_o act_n householder_n and_o all_o other_o inhabitant_n and_o dweller_n within_o the_o say_a parish_n town_n and_o place_n contributory_a to_o this_o act_n of_o subsidy_n by_o authority_n of_o which_o writing_n or_o estreat_v so_o deliver_v the_o say_a officer_n and_o other_o person_n so_o name_v and_o depute_v several_o shall_v have_v full_a power_n and_o authority_n by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n immediate_o after_o the_o delivery_n
