of_o the_o due_a time_n for_o every_o thing_n and_o every_o work_n have_v his_o opportunity_n and_o time_n as_o the_o king_n have_v say_v this_o time_n therefore_o abserue_v noah_n abraham_n isaac_n jacob_n joseph_n moses_n josuah_n samuel_n david_n and_o other_o our_o godly_a forefather_n in_o their_o life_n and_o this_o time_n i_o be_o assure_v the_o king_n shall_v accomplish_v and_o therein_o patient_a the_o cause_n of_o who_o grief_n be_v neither_o reveal_v nor_o well_o know_v to_o the_o physician_n this_o the_o lord_n consider_v therefore_o they_o yet_o desist_v not_o to_o search_v &_o inquire_v further_a until_o they_o find_v out_o the_o cause_n of_o the_o king_n present_a sickness_n chap._n xv._o zadoke_n have_v find_v the_o cause_n of_o the_o king_n trouble_a mind_n and_o declare_v they_o of_o solomon_n glory_n zadoke_v the_o most_o reverend_a father_n have_v now_o a_o good_a while_o hearken_v to_o the_o conference_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o perceive_v that_o they_o god_n the_o which_o we_o must_v seek_v by_o godly_a repentance_n &_o obtain_v by_o faithful_a prayer_n unto_o god_n in_o the_o trust_n of_o messiah_n until_o which_o time_n the_o lord_n will_v never_o be_v persuade_v to_o draw_v in_o his_o hand_n which_o be_v stretch_v forth_o repent_v solomon_n repent_v this_o the_o king_n himself_o well_o know_v and_o therefore_o he_o be_v humble_v on_o the_o so_o record_v the_o former_a speech_n be_v well_o hear_v &_o consider_v according_o by_o the_o lord_n assemble_v prince_n zabud_n the_o king_n familiar_a friend_n answer_v my_o lord_n zadoke_v i_o suppose_v you_o have_v full_o pierce_v the_o centre_n and_o have_v plain_o reveal_v though_o in_o secret_a unto_o we_o the_o high_a cause_n of_o this_o so_o strange_a metamorphosis_n and_o alteration_n of_o the_o king_n your_o word_n so_o grave_a and_o right_a reverendly_a dispose_v on_o this_o occasion_n we_o allow_v as_o well_o worthy_a and_o commend_v your_o plain_a manner_n of_o deal_n in_o this_o matter_n though_o of_o such_o weight_n for_o howsoever_o it_o be_v honourable_a to_o conceal_v the_o king_n secret_n as_o my_o lord_n the_o king_n secretary_n will_v confess_v yet_o in_o this_o case_n i_o hold_v it_o necessary_a that_o those_o thing_n be_v manifest_v to_o we_o of_o this_o assembly_n no_o less_o than_o it_o shall_v be_v needful_a that_o the_o sickness_n and_o grief_n of_o the_o languish_a patient_n with_o the_o cause_n thereof_o be_v make_v know_v to_o the_o faithful_a physician_n who_o at_o the_o least_o howsoever_o he_o may_v be_v able_a or_o not_o able_a to_o cure_v the_o malady_n will_v nevertheless_o extend_v his_o good_a will_n endeavour_n his_o best_a and_o wish_v the_o patient_a health_n and_o out_o of_o doubt_n as_o you_o have_v say_v so_o may_v i_o say_v what_o i_o likewise_o have_v observe_v be_v ordinary_o so_o near_o his_o grace_n as_o any_o one_o else_o in_o his_o court_n that_o he_o have_v have_v very_o late_o a_o message_n send_v he_o from_o god_n contain_v both_o a_o sharp_a reprehension_n and_o a_o fearful_a commination_n the_o message_n be_v therefore_o irksome_a to_o he_o for_o who_o may_v but_o bash_v when_o god_n reprove_v he_o and_o who_o shall_v not_o tremble_v at_o the_o sentence_n of_o punishment_n the_o reproof_n touch_v to_o the_o quick_a but_o the_o threat_n dawnt_v the_o guilty_a conscience_n for_o as_o the_o one_o argue_v a_o displeasure_n for_o a_o fault_n commit_v so_o the_o other_o award_v judgement_n for_o the_o same_o but_o yet_o what_o the_o very_a cause_n thereof_o be_v i_o can_v not_o understand_v until_o now_o for_o you_o have_v say_v it_o to_o be_v beside_o all_o other_o cause_n the_o high_a displeasure_n of_o god_n just_o conceive_v against_o the_o king_n and_o his_o people_n for_o that_o the_o king_n have_v contrary_a to_o the_o divine_a law_n multiply_a wife_n to_o himself_o in_o a_o great_a number_n that_o he_o have_v also_o combine_v himself_o with_o strange_a woman_n yea_o such_o as_o be_v stranger_n in_o religion_n to_o we_o and_o that_o by_o their_o society_n and_o temptation_n he_o have_v be_v allure_v and_o turn_v his_o hart_n from_o jehovah_n his_o god_n than_o the_o which_o alas_o what_o can_v be_v more_o reprehensible_a horrible_a and_o fearful_a *_o the_o king_n himself_o say_v zadok_n will_v not_o at_o the_o least_o he_o shall_v not_o dissemble_v this_o matter_n solomon_n zadoke_n proceed_v to_o tell_v what_o the_o prophet_n say_v to_o k._n solomon_n for_o the_o prophet_n who_o bring_v he_o this_o embassady_n from_o god_n deliver_v it_o not_o in_o a_o corner_n nor_o stagger_v he_o to_o tell_v it_o to_o the_o king_n face_n and_o that_o with_o wonderful_a audacity_n for_o so_o god_n command_v he_o to_o do_v and_o neither_o to_o fear_v nor_o i_o find_v say_v jehosophat_n that_o after_o the_o time_n solomon_n

provoke_v man_n to_o piety_n and_o to_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n that_o lead_v towards_o the_o high_a good_a and_o chief_a felicity_n and_o also_o to_o confirm_v any_o doctrine_n or_o opinion_n that_o shall_v be_v either_o teach_v or_o deliver_v to_o the_o church_n for_o god_n glory_n and_o the_o profit_n of_o the_o same_o for_o therein_o be_v to_o be_v see_v and_o gather_v the_o same_o verity_n which_o it_o have_v please_v god_n by_o the_o inspiration_n of_o his_o spirit_n to_o exhibit_v unto_o his_o prophet_n and_o servant_n who_o he_o have_v make_v in_o this_o respect_n the_o master_n authority_n and_o collect_v take_v and_o teach_v by_o the_o king_n aswell_o in_o this_o as_o in_o other_o his_o book_n and_o so_o we_o find_v they_o to_o shoot_v harmonical_o to_o this_o chief_a scope_n or_o mark_n 20._o the_o end_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n eccles._n 12.13_o 1_o god_n glory_n 2._o man_n happiness_n psal_n 50.23_o exod._n 20._o namely_o that_o man_n may_v thereby_o
