of_o war_n and_o groan_v under_o tax_n though_o they_o desire_v peace_n yet_o be_v so_o much_o against_o the_o pull_n down_o of_o monarchy_n under_o which_o they_o have_v long_o flourish_v that_o they_o which_o be_v weary_a of_o your_o government_n dare_v not_o go_v about_o to_o throw_v it_o off_o until_o they_o have_v once_o at_o least_o offer_v proposition_n of_o peace_n to_o your_o majesty_n lest_o the_o vulgar_a without_o who_o concurrence_n they_o can_v perfect_v the_o work_n shall_v fall_v from_o they_o therefore_o when_o the_o whole_a people_n weary_a of_o war_n desire_v security_n from_o pressure_n and_o arbitrary_a rule_n the_o most_o honourable_a house_n of_o parliament_n have_v consent_v to_o offer_v these_o proposition_n to_o your_o majesty_n without_o which_o the_o great_a part_n of_o the_o people_n do_v suppose_v the_o kingdom_n can_v neither_o enjoy_v peace_n nor_o safety_n therefore_o your_o majesty_n friend_n and_o the_o commissioner_n of_o scotland_n though_o not_o without_o some_o reluctation_n be_v force_v to_o consent_v to_o the_o send_n of_o these_o proposition_n for_o else_o none_o have_v be_v send_v or_o else_o incur_v the_o public_a hatred_n as_o enemy_n to_o peace_n now_o sir_n if_o your_o majesty_n which_o god_n forbid_v shall_v deny_v to_o sign_v these_o proposition_n you_o will_v loose_v all_o your_o friend_n both_o city_n and_o country_n and_o all_o england_n as_o one_o man_n will_v rise_v up_o against_o you_o it_o may_v then_o be_v fear_v all_o hope_n of_o reconciliation_n be_v take_v away_o that_o they_o may_v cite_v you_o depose_v you_o and_o set_v up_o another_o government_n moreover_o they_o will_v require_v of_o we_o to_o deliver_v your_o majesty_n to_o they_o to_o restore_v their_o garrison_n town_n and_o carry_v our_o army_n out_o of_o england_n last_o if_o your_o majesty_n persist_v in_o deny_v both_o kingdom_n will_v be_v compel_v to_o agree_v together_o for_o their_o mutual_a safety_n to_o settle_v religion_n and_o peace_n without_o you_o which_o to_o our_o unspeakable_a grief_n will_v ruin_v your_o majesty_n and_o your_o posterity_n but_o if_o your_o majesty_n shall_v despise_v the_o council_n of_o we_o who_o wish_v nothing_o more_o upon_o earth_n than_o the_o establish_n of_o your_o majesty_n throne_n and_o by_o obstinacy_n loose_a england_n your_o majesty_n will_v not_o be_v suffer_v to_o enter_v scotland_n and_o ruin_n that_o sir_n we_o have_v lay_v our_o hand_n upon_o our_o heart_n we_o have_v pray_v to_o god_n to_o direct_v we_o and_o have_v serious_o consider_v of_o the_o remedy_n for_o these_o mischief_n but_o we_o can_v find_v nothing_o else_o as_o the_o case_n now_o stand_v which_o can_v preserve_v your_o crown_n and_o kingdom_n then_o that_o your_o majesty_n shall_v sign_v these_o proposition_n in_o some_o thing_n
