irish_a nation_n as_o bloody_a rebel_n be_v cast_v from_o the_o protection_n of_o the_o king_n law_n and_o royal_a favour_n it_o may_v not_o therefore_o be_v presume_v that_o he_o will_v have_v his_o authority_n keep_v over_o such_o a_o nation_n to_o govern_v they_o we_o do_v join_v with_o you_o in_o that_o you_o represent_v to_o wit_n there_o be_v no_o safety_n to_o be_v expect_v from_o covenanter_n or_o independent_o for_o the_o catholic_n religion_n or_o this_o nation_n if_o that_o of_o the_o peace_n be_v prove_v the_o only_a safety_n we_o be_v for_o it_o however_o we_o conceive_v the_o benefit_n thereof_o be_v due_a to_o we_o have_v make_v no_o breach_n of_o our_o part_n answer_n here_o they_o ready_o declare_v their_o opinion_n concern_v his_o majesty_n have_v recall_v our_o commission_n and_o take_v pain_n to_o prove_v it_o by_o a_o unavoidable_a dilemma_n or_o that_o at_o least_o we_o be_v not_o their_o friend_n nor_o to_o be_v trust_v by_o they_o and_o by_o another_o strong_a argument_n they_o endeavour_v to_o prove_v his_o majesty_n will_v not_o have_v his_o authority_n at_o all_o keep_v over_o this_o nation_n when_o by_o this_o mean_v they_o have_v as_o they_o think_v show_v it_o impossible_a that_o the_o peace_n can_v be_v continue_v which_o they_o know_v it_o can_v without_o the_o continuance_n of_o the_o king_n authority_n than_o they_o say_v if_o the_o peace_n be_v prove_v the_o only_a safety_n they_o be_v for_o it_o and_o that_o however_o they_o conceive_v the_o benefit_n thereof_o be_v due_a to_o they_o have_v make_v no_o breach_n on_o their_o part_n if_o they_o will_v make_v it_o their_o business_n to_o seek_v for_o argument_n to_o keep_v the_o king_n authority_n over_o they_o they_o may_v perhaps_o find_v many_o and_o these_o as_o convince_a as_o those_o they_o have_v find_v to_o dispute_v it_o out_o of_o the_o kingdom_n as_o the_o conclusion_n and_o ratification_n of_o the_o peace_n here_o by_o virtue_n of_o his_o authority_n precedent_n to_o the_o declaration_n seem_v to_o annul_v it_o the_o certainty_n that_o he_o be_v in_o a_o free_a condition_n when_o he_o give_v the_o say_a authority_n and_o ratify_v the_o peace_n conclude_v by_o it_o and_o the_o question_n that_o may_v be_v make_v whether_o he_o be_v so_o when_o he_o declare_v against_o it_o and_o last_o that_o by_o the_o article_n of_o peace_n he_o be_v oblige_v to_o continue_v his_o authority_n here_o from_o which_o obligation_n no_o declaration_n at_o least_o importune_v from_o he_o by_o his_o subject_n of_o scotland_n can_v free_v he_o or_o take_v from_o this_o nation_n who_o have_v no_o dependence_n on_o scotland_n the_o benefit_n of_o the_o agreement_n make_v by_o his_o majesty_n with_o they_o upon_o these_o ground_n it_o be_v that_o until_o his_o majesty_n have_v be_v full_o inform_v in_o all_o that_o have_v pass_v here_o and_o declare_v his_o free_a sense_n upon_o it_o we_o offer_v to_o justify_v the_o lawfulness_n of_o conclude_v the_o peace_n and_o the_o continue_a validity_n of_o it_o to_o those_o that_o have_v not_o forfeit_v their_o interest_n in_o it_o if_o we_o may_v have_v have_v the_o concurrence_n of_o these_o bishop_n and_o obedience_n in_o the_o place_n by_o the_o strength_n and_o mean_n whereof_o it_o may_v have_v be_v justify_v and_o sure_o this_o be_v a_o offer_n not_o merit_v the_o scorn_n and_o bitterness_n wherewith_o it_o be_v reject_v if_o they_o that_o contrive_v this_o paper_n have_v make_v no_o breach_n of_o the_o peace_n on_o their_o part_n we_o have_v lose_v much_o labour_n in_o the_o forepast_a discourse_n but_o we_o believe_v we_o have_v prove_v they_o have_v make_v many_o and_o those_o the_o high_a it_o be_v possible_a to_o make_v and_o sure_o they_o must_v be_v very_o partial_a on_o their_o own_o side_n if_o they_o think_v the_o benefit_n of_o a_o thing_n they_o reject_v be_v due_a to_o they_o three_o article_n something_o of_o our_o sense_n concern_v what_o way_n may_v tend_v best_a to_o the_o nation_n preservation_n we_o will_v say_v beneath_o and_o do_v offer_v our_o clear_a intention_n before_o god_n to_o join_v with_o you_o and_o all_o man_n in_o what_o will_v be_v find_v the_o best_a and_o safe_a way_n to_o such_o preservation_n answer_n this_o be_v only_o a_o profession_n which_o require_v no_o answer_n from_o us._n four_o article_n we_o be_v of_o opinion_n and_o do_v ever_o think_v all_o our_o endeavour_n shall_v be_v employ_v to_o keep_v the_o king_n authority_n over_o we_o but_o when_o his_o majesty_n throw_v away_o the_o nation_n from_o his_o protection_n as_o rebel_n withdraw_v his_o own_o authority_n we_o can_v understand_v this_o mystery_n of_o preserve_v the_o same_o with_o we_o and_o over_o we_o or_o how_o it_o may_v be_v do_v whereas_o you_o say_v that_o many_o of_o those_o considerable_a will_v instant_o make_v their_o condition_n with_o the_o enemy_n if_o the_o king_n be_v authority_n be_v take_v away_o by_o himself_o as_o by_o his_o declaration_n it_o be_v and_o not_o drive_v away_o by_o the_o subject_a in_o such_o case_n when_o the_o people_n may_v not_o hold_v it_o likely_a they_o
